Stories You Would have Enjoyed Seeing

Ignore the TATV crap. I prefer the idea of Lorian's ship turning up just before the Federation is formed, (the subspace tunnel pushes them into the future by 6 years). His existence forces T'Pol to reunite with Trip. I got the impression that is what they both wanted in the TATV episode but were too scared to be the first to say it.

Another thing I'd have liked to see is the long journey home from the Xindi mission, in a severely damaged Enterprise with a growing scarcity of supplies and crew members mourning the fallen, trying to come to terms with past events and to make the best out of their situation.
Trip is in charge of damage control and is trying to take care of a struggling, reeling T'Pol. I'd have liked the idea that he is roaming the ship on her behalf, trying to raise the last remaining vegan/vegetarian food supplies.
About half way they meet a Vulcan vessel. The Vulcans are offering to take care of T'Pol and to bring her home. Trip and T'Pol have a private talk and T'pol is turning the offer down.
When the Vulcan captain makes a snide remark to Trip, the engineer is pointing out that he actually tried to convince T'Pol to go with them, but in vain.
"You, Captain, of all people, should understand, that her typical Vulcan sense of duty forbids her to abandon her crew in a situation like that. 'The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.' Her very words."
Trip is asking politely for the Vulcans to share a few of their fresh supplies with them in order to aid T'Pol. The Vulcans are impressed by the cohesion and team spirit of the battered crew.
When they finally arrive, TnT are more or less engaged. They are surprised to learn that Cpt.Archer is alive and well. He was brought home earlier on by an Aquarian vessel.

This makes for at least a two-parter, probably better than alien Nazis and mor time travel...

The space nazis were a terrible mistake that likely contributed to if not decided of the enterprise demise. They lost two episodes on stupid derivative crap instead of starting the season with the augments directly and only interesting things from then on. The audience never forgave them that idiocy. I think they could have saved the series had they dispensed with the space nazis, the transporter thing and the hormonal crew... those were second season quality episodes that had nothing to do when it was time to save Enterprise from oblivion.

While I'd LOVE to see the Kzinti return to Trek, from what I've read that story was just DS9's "The Abandoned" recycled with ENT characters.

The Enterprise trying to rescue the "real" ECS Kobayashi Maru. Seeing the real event which inspired the famous command test from Wrath of Khan (and later Star Trek) would be awesome.

Mix in some of TNG Cause and Effect.

The Enterprise rushes to the defense of the Kobayashi Maru, but the ship is attacked and near destruction, then suddenly it's hour before.

Everyone retains their memories, they receive the KM's distress signal again and Archer knowing what to do differently again responses. But this time the situation isn't what it was before and again the Enterprise is near destruction, then it's hour before.

Archer keep trying to save the ship, sometimes the attackers are a different species, sometimes the Enterprise crew manage to beam aboard only to be attacked there, sometimes the KM isn't actually there.

We only see some attempts, others we just hear about them in briefing room sessions.

In the end Archer decides to abandon the KM to it's fate, they stand off and watch the KM being destroyed.

I would have loved to have seen Archer meeting the Breen before they became a threat to the Federation. Maybe Archer and crew did something to make them the enemy.

Picard mentioned that the Cardassians were once a peaceful and spritual people. Archer could have encountered those Cardassians before the Military took over in his time.

I don't like the idea of introducing TNG races to the Enterprise era. Ya gotta leave something for the future folks to actually discover in the future! IMHO, based on TOS, there shouldn't have been any knowledge of the Klingons in this era, much less the Cardies. The Orions should have been the 'weekly' villain, with the Romulans showing up later as the 'mystery' villains whose effects are felt but they are never seen. Oh, and no cloaking devices either. That was supposedly a brand new development in the TOS era!

I can see Archer doing something to piss off both the Breen and the Cardassians, for the former his dog could have peed on some sacred Breen ice sculpture (remember it's very cold there), for the latter he could have made some gesture accidentally meaning something very offensive to the Cardassians (he was trying to describe a gazelle).

Archer's report on the Romulans and their cloaking device are on the same floppy disk as his reports on the Borg and the Ferengi.

The disk is a old shoe box buried somewhere deep in the Starfleet Archives

To think the federation had to "rediscover" interacting holograms nearly two centuries after Archer had them within his grasp.
