Sorry, I haven't played much lately. Been studying a lot.

What's the 'Klingon' update and should I redo my K characters?

Has anyone bought the Romulan Legacy pack? One of my STO buddies did but he's a diehard Romulan fan. I'm just not that interested in Romulan things. Perhaps the D'deridex-class refit as I have enough Zen for that. I might be interested in a Romulan science ship but I only remember seeing one in the shows, the RIS Talvath.

I'm online most night at the moment about 9 to 10pm BST. Wednesdays I'm on longer (from about 7:30 to 8pm BST).

We got some of the Fed's fleet projects boosted a bit.
Shouldn't be long now till we unlock the first Fleetbase T3 projects.

In other news: The embassy is about ready to be upgraded to full T1 status.

We need about 130k dilithium to do it.

That should be quickly doable if every member chips in a bit.

There is a new tutorial and enough story missions to get from level 1 to level 50.

You can play everything with your existing character outside of a cutscene, which consists of some fight scenes on ground and in space and Klingon Honor BlablaBla voice over and the first chapter of th turorial.

The first chapter tutorial part consists of you starting on the bridge of your Bird of Prey but you are not Captain yet but the second officer.

Spoiler: Tutorial Story

You get sent do do some shooting practice, go to sleep and when you wake up your ship has been attacked by Federation ships to free Franklin Drake who is a prisoner on board your ship. Turns out your Captain is a coward and collaborator who kills the first officer when challenged by her.
Now you are the first officer and promptly get to finish what your predecessor started to take command and restore the honor of your ship by defeating the Feds.
From then on you start a hunt to retrieve Drake

which is where existing characters can join in on the story.

Looks like I need to roll up a new klink. Fortunately I have a low-level one I can delete.

Sadly, i believe the fleet heavy escort carrier is tier 5.
