I already have around 50 ships per character, so I will not be requesting for any of these ships.

I have a Star Cruiser already.

I could use a ship with good science stats. As an engineer, I have mostly cruisers, and getting those high SCI requirements is simply impossible.

Am late to the party. Have a group of 16 ships, cruiser heavy, top end being my vesta set and guardians (fleet, standard) and anniversary oddy.
If anything am tac light, and it's a bit different, so if no one else needs it and if it's still going, I wouldn't mind the kazon bad hair day please.
But only ifs. I am happy with my set up.
On an unrelated note...sympathise with me mah fleeties, have been too ill to log on for mirror event.

I found that just going back through and finding what I could reclaim got me at least a couple more ships than I thought. Rebuying old ships for just EC, more shuttles, etc. And then drydock or dismiss, but at least got a couple more to play with. SCI is usually the hard one for me, but depends on the toon...

Check the Shipyard for any unclaimed ships. Also check in C store. Look in your inventory to see if you have something stashed there. If you threw away the Enterprice C, you have to replay the mission to reclaim it.

If there are any ships left over, I'll take one. Not picky on role. Thanks.

I played some of this game when it was new, but not since.
Starting one character tonight, Federation science- will be looking for folks to adventure with, esp. new characters -

He is working on those early missions with the Undine.
Been getting crashes to desktop on beamouts I never had when the game was newer, prompting a 10 minute file check every time I restart.

Does anyone know, is STO a total RAM hog? Is a 4gig system still enough? The slowness of the loadup suggests its pulling most of the system RAM. But am also checking graphic drivers..

It is. I could play on 4 GB, and recently I added another 4 GB. I didn't notice much difference, though. I crash just the same I used to before. It just eats as much RAM as you feed it. Supposedly there's some memory leak they can't get rid of.

But I don't crash at beam outs. My problem are social zones. A visit in one and a crash guaranteed sooner or later.

Quick update.
We are only 15 shipyard projects away from unlocking our first T5 starbase upgrade.
So 2016 will be all about completing the starbase finally.

Engineering and science are a little further out, but we will get there.

We are only 15 shipyard projects away from unlocking our first T5 starbase upgrade.
So 2016 will be all about completing the starbase finally.

Engineering and science are a little further out, but we will get there.

I've got enough resources now to fill everything except the fleet mark requirements on these shipyard projects, hopefully we will be unlocking the first t5 upgrade by the end of the year


A quick update on the KDF fleet (now level 40)...

The last upgrade has been completed on the mine, it will be fully T3 in 7 days.
The embassy, is now T3 on diplomacy
The Research Lab is now T2, and T2 on the development track.
The Spire is only a handful of projects away from T3 on the research track, giving us access to the tac consoles.
The Starbase is now T4, with the shipyard at T4, engineering and science both at T3.

Fleet marks I can usually get by turning in my doffing excess. I need to do some serious rearranging of said duffs before I can start grinding the personnel for fleet projects, and haven't been on much lately sadly (I miss the Christmas ship every single year. And even summer for last few years.)

But yeah...fleet marks I think I can handle.

Has anyone else received the holiday Breen cruiser yet? Just got mine yesterday and I am liking it very much. As someone who is used to tactical ships, there's been a slight learning curve involved but it seems like a solid ship. The only thing bad about it is the bridge. It's more depressing than a Jem'hadar bridge...

Still 5 days to go. But I'm looking forward to it. I have no tank at the mo on any of my toons, so my Ferasan should get it. I already got the full Breen set for it, and polaron weapons

Just start completely over before going back to any old toons. The game has an almost entirely new story and mission structure.
Just on KDF side there are some remnants of the missions from launch.
Everything else has been touched up or outright replaced.

I did and was having a great time of it. Unfortunately, I started having a probably where I was getting <10fps on ground missions, even with everything as low as I could get it.

After doing some research, turns out this has been a big problem for a lot of people since season 10. I lived with it for awhile, but I final got to a mission that was just too hard to complete.

Just checked in on the starbase progress and the final military project is already running.
Excellent job, guys!

Less than 18 hours and we start to upgrade the shipyard to T5!!!

Who'd have thunk it, eh?
