Upgrade is running. 10 days to Fleet Elite Shields and Deflectors.
Thanks pteal for the final push.
It's certain that we will have unlocked the engineering upgrade project by then, too. just need to complete one more leveling project for that.
So good going after a couple of slow weeks.
The next few upgrades will fall after the expansion drops, so hopefully we will have a full roster for a while to help and offset the individual dilithium needs everyone will have.

Thankfully, there won't be a new fleet holding in DR. So we just have to continue working on the spire and starbase.

It is only a matter of time, though.
While the Standard T6 ships might simply get added to the T 5 shipyards, the fleet Intel ships will undoubtedly require a new Holding in the Delta quadrant.
If not now, than next season.

I doubt they'll add a holding just to sell fleet ships. They could simply add T6 Fleet ships to the current T5 starbase.
My working theory is that Cryptic adds a fleet holding when it needs to add ec and dilithium sinks to the game. Since DR has added huge quantities of personal sinks, it is likely that no fleet holding would be required for at least another season or two.
At any rate, even if they add a holding next season that gives us at least another 3 months to finish up everything.

They did it with the Spire for the Atrox and Veteran ships. SO I expect the same for the new themed fleet ships.

Just a heads up regarding some minor future starbase upgrades.
After the main upgrades are through we will unlock a number of personal NPCs to recruit doffs on the base.
Those unlocks require white quality Bridge Offer candidates.
So if you come about some by leveling up new toons.
instead of letting them join your crew keep them as candidates until you can contribute them to the projects.
high quality Boffs for your crew to join are really cheap on the exchange. Some purples are going for a few thousand EC only and you can pick their traits and abilities better.
So don't waste the white boffs on your crew roster when we can utilize them for the base.

The grind to T5 starbase is slow but is technically very easy, since the most difficult commodity to contribute are doffs.
If everyone starts puting some in regularly the daily projects could in theory be completed every day.
The three main tracks don't require an ounce of dilithiumtoto gain starbase XP which is our main problem with the other holdings.

Yeah, I was being a bit flip, but it's definitely a long trek. T4 gets you to 100k experience, 250k needed for T5. Yikes! Agree that the DIL tax falling off after we finish the Spire will be great, far easier to grind EC and buy commodities/DOFFs than keep tossing 1M DIL at each little project.
We're real close on SCI Spire T3, and ENG Spire T3 should be pretty shortly behind it. If we can make those go away, we'll be in a nice comfortable spot, and in real good shape for when the next eventual holding opens..

I've filled the last of the dilithium on the spire upgrade, thats 400k i've now pumped into this upgrade alone. I was going to get the doffs and commodities completed too, but i got disconnected and can't get back in at the moment.

QQ about DPS... I've read here and there that such-and-such finally got his or her ship up to 15K DPS or something like that. Curious about how my ship is performing, I looked for the DPS in the ship's information panel where I find shield strength, turn rate, etc. But I found nothing about DPS there...
Where do I find this information?
