The last big Spire Upgrade is now ready.
We need 17,851 Fleet marks, 1,700,000 dilithium, 11,050 Seismic Stabilizers, 8500 Terraforming Systems and 850 Spire Provisions.

Just letting you know...
Transwarp destinations from the starbase to all 3 Cardassian sector blocks is now available.
We are now working on contracting a Bridge Officer Trainer to the starbase, which is a smaller project which is mostly filled already with the exception of a couple 100k dilithium and a few fleetmarks.

Keep pushing on the Spire T3, once we get that one we're DONE with that holding, and that will be 3 maxed out holdings and a T4 Starbase, which is pretty sweet given our smaller fleet nature. T5 will be a while, but will keep chipping away at it.
For now, though, please try and kick in a little DIL when you can, we're like 1.5M short

Also, it is the last really big dilithium sink until we are up to T5 starbase upgrades.
There are still a few minor upgrades to be done (Spire Tailor, Doff contacts, etc) and a few of the cosmetic upgrades on different holdings.
But not a single one of them costs more than 180k I think.

I'm fairly new to STO, just a couple months in, but running a Rear Admiral Federation character. I'm really not that good at the game yet, but pretty active (at least a couple hours a day), and am pretty confident that I could get better in the company of experienced players.
Would I be welcome in the TrekBBS Fleet? The fleet I'm currently in sucks, first thing I would need to learn is how to leave it.

Sure.
To leave your old fleet open the fleet menu, go to roster and there is a leave button on the lower right corner.
To join us, just leave your charactername@handle here for us tosend an invite.

Hadn't logged in in about a year, but just got a Welcome (Please Come) Back promo code in my email yesterday, and they sucked me back in. I'm glad, too - it looks like they finally fixed one of my biggest complaints, which is the space battles were too much of a cakewalk. And, since I had 670 or so Qmendation points left over from last year, I ran Dust to Dust and got the Samsar cruiser. Ugly ship, but what the heck. I stole the unique console and warp drive and put them in my "All Good Things" Galaxy-class.

Stupid Arc, there were some things I really wanted to do today before work, I'm clearly officially addicted to this game. Seems server is down, not just Arc? Hope it's working when I get home.
I'm really enjoying the fleet and playing with you all, had a fun ground PvP session with pteal last night, didn't think I would enjoy that aspect of the game but turns out I really like it! It's fun with friends.
Edit, 5 minutes later....Of course it's working now, because I decided to go to work early and sit in the parking lot and read for a while. Oh well, it's a nice day and reading instead of playing video games is never a bad idea. Blessing in disguise.

First thing you want to do is join our custom fleet channel for global chat.
Enter
/channel-join TrekBBS Subspace Com
into the chatbox in game.
At the tailor you can buy your fleet uniform with the correct colors for which you just got a new costume slot for free (if this is your first fleet).

The upgrade to T3 Spire is running. That was the final really big one now.
We will unlock another smaller project to do for the Spire Tailor including the Dyson Alliance uniform.
The ship vendor will have the Atrox caitian carrier available at fleet level.
You can buy the third atmospheric friction reduction.
And exchange access will be unlocked.
All that in less than 10 days from now.
Meanwhile the main Starbase has some minor projects requiring your contributions to unlock the 3 doff contacts you would normally visit the academy for: Andorian, Tellarite and Vulcan.
Those projects will become available after the Bridge Officer Trainer is done cooking by tomorrow.
Edit: We will need Vulcan, Tellarite and Andorian common Bridge Officer candidates to complete those projects.
Oh, yeah... and before he complains... the Starbase chef will be hired as well after all that.
So once again, good progress and thanks to all who contributed.
