STO Trek BBS Fleet

Just did a little fleet roster management and headcount.

ATM we have round about 30 players in the Armada that have been active within the last 6 months.
I purged every character that has been inactive for a longer period of time.
If you find that yours has been among those purged and want to come back, just reapply and you will receive full membership and fleet rank again.

I'm sure and hope once the game goes free to play in the next months, we can get some activity back into the fleet.

In the meantime if you are in the mood for some teamwork and fleet activities don't be shy to post here the time you will be on and a rough idea about what you wanna do: STFs, Borg Red Alerts, missions, PvP...
And ask fleet members online of course, as well as our fleet allies from Grande imperial Fleet.

If you want to try out Klingon game play, we have The House of TrekBBS ready for invites as well.

Appreciate the add. I've picked up the fleet cadet uniform.

I made a small donation to the repository, but see that the fleet is well funded. (judging by the number of repositories) Who maintains the repositories? If I'm not stepping on toes too soon, I'd like to make some suggestions based on my other toon's experience as a quartermaster and fleet leader.

An area that I expect to need assistance is earning Diplomatic points. That usually sends people running in the opposite direction, as they just want the shoot-em up missions.

Feel free to give any advice you like.
Can never hurt to share experience.
Trek88 does the bulk of bank management as voluntary quartermaster.
Resources come from member donations since start of the game and esspecially within the last year.
Thanks to everyone who contributed so far.
Was really cool when I could finally max out the bank space.
So any credits that the fleet gets is used to keep the consumables stock up and maybe help finance a fleet base, when it eventually becomes available.

Speaking of the fleet bank, it's looking rather full again, so i'll be doing another clean up in the next 48 hours and restocking the consumables.

Well, since you obviously didn't find what you were looking for in our fleet I recommend European Delta Force.
They may me more down your alley.
Young upstarting ambitious heavily recruiting everywhere.
Don't know about their internal fleet structures though.

Friend of mine works for Cryptic and says working there is like trying to steer a ship without a rudder. Rumor has it Stahl was shown the door when the Season 4.1 was declared "unready for release."

Even if the rumor were true, it would just prove that TBTP really want to get good content out faster.
Which, of course, is good for us players.

I don't know ya'll very well yet... but Cryptic is run like any other business. You got layers of leadership working to gain a tenuous advantage over the other... you have the grunts down in the trenches working on things that never see the light of day because of someone's ego... or things that are slammed out at 430PM Thursday night before a holiday weekend. Certain people will be giving the higher-ups an "YES ALL IS WELL THE FANBASE IS HAPPY" status report while people are raging about the lack of story content and severe bugs.

I work in a similar environment. As much as I love Star Trek Online and wish to see it grow it is in the hands of small petty people who may not even LIKE Star Trek... people who are just there to grind out code or mindlessly respond to bug reports that mean nothing to them.

We shall see.

Now to repeat my question... how do I join your BBS Armada? Where do I report for the Initiation Ritual and what sort of beer do I bring?

that's bc i am on my own most of the times, no one else there, so its hardly a fleet. As to your advice for a fleet, no thanx, i'll stay on my own for a while, also I am looking for UK fleet, I don't care about European fleets tbh, last thing i want to do is use google translator every time i want to speak to someone.
