I can't wait to meet you in PvP. I don't use space bar because my phasers are on auto-fire and all of my other weapons do specific damage at specific times, so I fire them during those specific windows of usefulness. Just firing 'everything' randomly means you often miss those windows of useful time.
Just got the game last night. You can find me aboard the USS Fenway Park. How does one get $$ for the exchange etc? Winning missions?
Yeah, but I bet it doesn't look as cool as bashing their face in a few times and then disintegrating them.
1). How do you set your weapons to auto fire? 2). Is there anyway to get mail other than going to Memory Alpha all the time?
In the action bar, right-click on the weapon you wish to have set to auto. It will be surrounded by a green border. Only one forward and one aft weapon can be set at any one time. I'm not 100% sure, but if you hit the arrow button next to the radar, there should be a 'Mail' option there.
You can also check you mail anywhere that has a bank, like DS9, Earth Spacedock Starbase-39, and I think K-7.
Any advice on engineering skills ? I've been playing for the last few hours but i can't help feeling I'm spending them all over the place with no clear strategy in mind
Tip for Deep Space Encounters: If it has to reset, just jump to another instance via the menu option at the bottom of the map screen.
Does anyone know how to walk around the bridge of your starship? I've seen screen pics so it must be possible??
On the radar screen, click the downward-facing arrow to open up more options, and click 'Go to Bridge'.
It is, but you only can put one fore and one aft weapon on autofire. At cmdr level, you'll have at minimum 3 weapon slots fore and aft.
