An update on what I can do ... beams, cannons, engineering, ground weapons and shields. Plus can make TR-116b rifles too. Made a few million from some engineering ones over the weekend.
I've also got the ability to make the TR-116B rifles, and the purple DOFF to have a shot at increasing quality. I suck at getting lucky with the odds, but have about a 40% chance at UltraRare on the one I've got cooking right now. So if anyone has the parts and wants one cooked up, let me know.
Ah, so we can make the all-powerful TR-116R rifles! (My crafting levels around around '9' right now, so I plan on creating some additional ground weapons for my Boffs soon since I'm not too jazzed on the current selection I have).
In one short week, I've totally run out of Rubidium and very rare materials. And all I've managed to do is upgrade ONE character :/
Got the ultra-rare TR-116B Of course, worth about 12M give or take, so not sure I can keep it this time... Also have a VR version cooking, maybe I'll play with that one and upgrade it a bit. The last component, Particle Alignment Matrix, seems to be selling for 1.7M each, may make more money making those vice the guns! And every now and then, you crit it, had 3 pop out last time I tried to make one, very nice. Shockingly, someone on the Public Service channel actually GAVE me the purple DOFF needed for ground weapons! I was just asking about which ones you need, they pointed me to the purple and white ones in question, and then someone just said to check my mail. Goes for about 40M on the exchange, so I'll have to send him one of these guns pretty soon
I'll do TR-116 B for just the VR components (4 isolinear circuitry 3 particle alignment matrixes) and 1 million EC (so I can attempt to get my DOFF to pay for itself) (mail me if you're interested)
I've been playing off and on lately, and for some reason I totally neglected the crafting system. I have just started crafting, and I'm at level 3 for Sheilds and Ground. My goal is to get to level 15 so that I can craft the superior tech upgrades to bring my Reputation gear up to Mk XIV. At what level does the TR-116 B become available to craft? Also haven't noticed where we can craft body armor upgrades... there's shields and ground weapons, but no armor.
TR-116b available at level 15, as any other special crafting gear. Armor falls under engineering. if you want superior tech upgrades, just ask here and tell us what you need.
I am looking to update my Mk XII MACO ground set to MK XIII and eventually Mk XIV. Can you please tell me what materials are required to craft these upgrades? Thanks
I don't have the numbers at hand, but I believe you need Ground Weapon Upgrade tech, Engineering Upgrade tech and Shield Upgrade tech for that. Superior Shield tech requires Argonite. Don't remember what the other schools need. I'll check in a couple of hours.

I made this today. I had at best a 1 in 640 chance of crafting it. The odds are probably a lot worse than that because I know most people are reporting anywhere between 1 in 300 to 1 in 400 chances of crafting a [CrtD]x3 item.
Gratz. FYI I have the ability to craft the special Emission Seeking Plasma Torpedo. If anyone wants it, get me the mats and I craft it for you. The mats are not cheap, but from what I hear the torp is about the best plasma torp in game and I got lucky by finding the required doff in a lock box.
