Still in a kitbashing mood

I have to admit the "tail" looks a little weird in the second pic - it just seems to stick too far out from the shuttlebays doors, though admittedly I don't know what to suggest.

It's a warp field rudder.

It looks good.

Are you going to scribe any lines, windows, etc. into the model or just use paint and decals for the detail?

I'm still trying to figure that out!

It's pointing up, so torp launcher is out. I'm thinking that's an aft phaser, but it doesn't match the type-10 phaser strips on the saucer. Maybe it's just a docking umbilical.

No, i mean the circle at the top of the spine, pointing out from the ship.

This little shippy is looking great! I agree about the size of the nacelles, but hey, you work with what you have! :D

I like it. Now that circle above the shuttle bay. Is that a torp. launcher or something else?
Nah, its a secondary thermal exhaust port

Forbin this is looking great.

Oh great!!!then that means some "Farm Boy" will be able to take it out with a couple of proton torpedoes.

Some detail painting, and a coat of future.
Time to make the decals.

That's awesome looking, John. I'm not sure why I continue to be amazed at what you can transform in to what feels like a workable design these days. Especially after all the amazing stuff you've already pulled off.

Agreed. The tail doesn't seem as odd to me in those pictures, so maybe it was just an angular thing. In any case, I do appreciate your letting me nitpick a little, Forbin.

I hope you have a merry Christmas too. :)
