Since more and more countries restrict social contacts and more and more of us are to stay at home, I thought it'd be interesting to swap ideas what you can do at home in order to avoid going stone crazy and murdering your offspring or SO.
I tidied up my attic in January and discovered that I own 4 moving crates of wool, mostly tiny leftovers but also half a dozen half-finished knitting projects. So I decided to take measures to get rid of all that wool in a creative manner (which means that until I die I'll never have to buy a pair of socks, a sweater or a cardigan again).
Atm I am knitting and crotcheting 3 projects simultaneousely while listening to audiobooks:
1) my doctor socks (I knit those only while waiting at the doctors),
2) a cross between a bolero and a sweater. Imagine a scarf with sleeves. I'll need that one in winter when my shoulders and neck freeze while reading in bed. Here's a pic: https://www.swr.de/buffet/kreativ/h...204/did=25164762/nid=257204/nd1wgk/index.html (mine is violet coloured and much fluffier as I use mohair wool)
3) some of the tiny leftovers from previous projects will become egg cozies. That's my lunchbreak work this week. I love soft boiled eggs but if you keep them in the open, the second one gets cold and if you keep it in the water it'll get hard. So I decided to go waaaay back to granny-times and make a few egg cozies.
(btw, does anyone happen to know a murder mystery called "The Blood-Stained Egg Cozy"? Very thrilling and a surprising solution.)
What is your method of killing time?
