Eaglemoss's Nova model is the same Nova CG model from Voyager, according to Ben Robinson at least.Nova and Steamrunner - Eaglemoss models
Not a huge lossAs I recall the original Norway-class model was lost, hence why it vanished never to be seen again after Star Trek: First Contact.
they're all named after Star Trek badmirals
Admiral Leyton wasn't replaced, he was a legit badmiral, though you're right about Quinn. I'd replace him with Admiral Jameson from Too Short a Season or Admiral Pressman from The Pegasus. And I'd make the Leyton a refit Excelsior class!I mean, to be fair, Leyton was replaced with a Changeling and Quinn was compromised by a Parasite to change his behavior.
Was that ever demonstrated? I don't recall this.I mean, to be fair, Leyton was replaced with a Changeling
That must have been what I remembered. Got mixed up in my head. Granted it's been over 10 years since I've watched the Dominion War arc last...A changeling impersonated Layton in a single scene, all the other appearances he was human.
The screen used one is the Eaglemoss model, which is also the original Voyager CG model (which didn't have an impulse episode in 'Equinox' either). Is that the actual screen-used Nova-class model? In the trailer it was still missing the impulse engine, but here it has one.
That two parter is IMO are 2 of the best episodes of franchise.Weird. I specifically remembered Leyton changing and throwing about some changeling tentacles at one point. Damn crappy memory. Oh, well. Yeah, he's a baddie...
