Sad they did not show the original NX-01. Only the non-canon (until now) NX-01 refit.
Do the scales of the ships in the fleet museum seem off to anyone else? They're all about the same size, even the B'rel. That and the old Constitution should be much smaller, right?
The NX-01 Refit was actually made canon in season 2 of Picard.Sad they did not show the original NX-01. Only the non-canon (until now) NX-01 refit.
is the Connie again. No idea what the 4th isWhat's the 4th and 5th?

The Bounty and the A seem to look right, Connie and Constie about the same size seems right, Akira and Nebula seem to have similar sizes as well. Maybe that Rommie BoP is too big.
What does the refit NX-01 look like again? Added secondary hull?
Same. There are a lot of unused concept ships I'd love to see. Not to mention some designs seen in comics over the years. It is too bad. Rather than seeing STO ships that resemble other ships, I wouldn’t have minded seeing actual Ambassador class ships or variants of that class. The Ambassador design was the most underutilized type of ship in TNG.
Right? I keep wondering that too. Would love to see them again.Whatever happened to Quantum Torpedoes? "Angry Blue Torpedo Launcher"
No B. Perhaps lost? No E, which I guess means we'll be finding out later on this season what happened to her.Yeah, whatever. Anyway, I’m taking bets that we’ll see the Enterprise-B, D, and E inside Spacedock, and hopefully the NX-01 in its refit mode.
It's been a long time since anyone bothered with context-sensitive engine lighting on a Trek show. I'm just glad that, after the wide shot, apparently someone remembered the TMP Enterprise's warp engines only lit up when it was actually at warp. Why are all the engines turned on, even the impulse??
They may not be. They could be simply light panels at this point, to show visitors what they looked like when they were full-powered.Why are all the engines turned on, even the impulse??
Haven't seen the episode yet, but it could be like the railroad museum where I'm a volunteer. The locomotives and rolling stock light up and all but aren't actually powered up - just have power run into those circuits from an electrical lead through the museum. The ships probably have some form of rig that illuminates what's needed without the main core being powered. They may not be. They could be simply light panels at this point, to show visitors what they looked like when they were full-powered.
*starts looking up law firms*It'll be a shame, nay, criminal, if they don't make an interactive SF Museum app or website so we can look at everything close-up. That's assuming they did all the ships up in HQ like the ones we did get good views of.
I never realized this but it reminds me of the Bonnaventure from TAS.
Well according to DS9's Visual Effects Supervisor David Stipes, the class is 190.5m long. But according to the DS9 tech manual, it's 365m long. That Saber class looks tiny.
