Yeah... I really wish they hadn’t done that. With all the other things that was done to it, it’s amazing how that one little change fucked up the whole thing.

And it was a change not made by the original designer. If I were Eaves I'd be pretty damn livid that someone tampered with my design.

Well, yes, maybe. It still a rotten thing to do, his name is tied to that design, and people will assume he was responsible of it. I have worked as professional illustrator, and if my art was mutilated without my permission I would not be amused. If they don't like, they don't need to use it and they can hire someone else.

Not even close. The E looks like someone stole parts from other prominent ships, then stomped on it. I'll take the Enterprise-D and either version of the C every day of the week.
