I think Terry really liked the name Titan but didn't like the Luna Class.

I have no basis for this theory.

Personally I think it's more like he really liked the name Titan but LOVES the aesthetic of the TMP era Constitution... just my own theory based around his comments about the movie Enterprise/Enterprise-A.

Well, as I said, I'm fine with the new design, it's really growing on me. But why not name it Endeavour? A name used in Star Trek before, with a history in that universe. You can have that nostalgia/throwback but in a different way.
Hell, have a ship named the USS Soval, we already had the Shran.
And yes, like you, if they really wanted to use the name Titan, have it Riker's Titan from the novels. The design has been used in Picard already.

The level of detail is astounding. Credit to the set designers and graphic designers.

Can we take a moment to say how absolutely stunning those LCARS look on the Titan-A? And Matalas says that they really are curved screens too. Nice. I want to serve on that ship!

I need more views, as the Stargazer is my current choice for this era.

Curved screens that have graphics that react, they have projectors on the rearside beaming onto the glass.

    The technology is simply stunning.

I wonder if we’ll get good shots of the inquiry modifications in S3

We're the Okudas involved in the LCAR graphics?

This is a fun vid. Talking about the idea of a SF Museum.

As luck would have it, yesterday Brian Tatosky posted a little bit about the revamped Inquiry model on his Mastodon account:

Starting with the #StarTrekOnline version from Season 1, which already had more texture details, we lightened the hull to match the regular fleet color, contoured the secondary hull so it didn't have a flat bottom, adjusted the shape of the nacelles, and put a proper main deflector on it rather than that air conditioning grate it had before. It fits in better now.

Judging by the size of the windows, there's no way that ship is 640 meters long.

Looks awesome! But now they misspelled the name ("Zeng He") and gave it the wrong registry (88505 instead of 86505).

Gorgeous! Why it has been labeled as “sensitive content”, however, is a bit of an idiotic mystery.
