I guess DSC did establish that the Constitution (and Intrepid) was being continuously refitted and upgraded off-screen, so this could be yet another upgrade or subclass.

The hangar deck door area of the Titan-A has TOS and DSC Enterprise elements to it. The green and red square and rectangular lights mimic those on the pre-TMP Enterprise.

Only the TOS era one. He wasn't involved in the design process for the New Stargazer, he made the Ready Room model though. He did quote tweet a TrekCore tweet with the ship

And yes, it looks like it's based off his Shangri-La. .

Looks like a Bill Krauss design. Would make sense since he had a hand in last season's Stargazers.

On Krauss’s Facebook page, he shows side-by-side models of both the Shangri-la class and the Titan. And they’re about 90% identical; the only major change is the nacelles (which also share similarities.) So yeah, saying it was inspired by the Shangri-la would be an understatement.

Weeks of rumors of the titan.. Getting hyped for the Luna class.. Watch trailer.. That ..thing shows up as titan...

Feels like I was the dog that got all hyped up to go for a ride... Then ended up in a vets office to be snipped... Epically bummed..

Another name.. Just name it other than Titan I wouldn't have been mad.. But noooo!!

And the bridge module to fit the Stargazer's, struts are also smoothed out and that cutout on the front of the saucer is gone.
