Spoilers Starship Design in Star Trek: Picard

Nice shot of the Picard-era LCARS in the newest trailer too, behind this rogue synth

It looks 25% different. :D No, it's fine by me, actually - yet looks somewhat unstructured.:vulcan:

Looks like she has three internal bussards in each nacelle, as opposed to the original two. Definitely seems to be an upgrade from the original design but not a Venture-level upgrade. If it is a part of one of Picard’s dream sequences, they may have intentionally stylized it a bit.

Even the CGI Enterprise-D in "TATV..." had small aesthetic differences from the TNG shooting models.

ENT already sort of established that the UESPA was an organization running concurrently with the Earth Starfleet (and makes one wonder why there even needed to be an Earth Starfleet. I’m looking at you, Bermaga.) My head canon has at least two UESPA starships Enterprise operating in the 80+ years between the decommissioning of the NX-01 and the commissioning of the NCC-1701.
ESA and the European national space organizations exist in parallel as well

UESPA was later retconned to exist from about 2067 until at least 2267, since the last time it's ever mentioned in canon is in Season 1 of TOS. We know it exists in 2155 as the governing agency of Earth Starfleet and apparently continued to exist as the agency helping to coordinate Earth-based deep space missions after the Federation came into existence.

It's a messy retcon but it does work.

Best model of the D was the first 6 footer, then it was spruced up for Generations.. Sexy beast that..
Wonder if it's the same model from the Tng Remastered stuff? That was originally in Maya, and that what they use now, so no converting it.. Maybe update the textures and lightning..

I always thought that Starfleet was made up of vessels made at member worlds.. So the tos enterprise was an Earth ship that was lent to Starfleet.. So the uespa was the governing body for the earth fleet. But when operating in Starfleet it reported to Starfleet.

What's this TATV u mention.? Enterprises Series finally was Terra prime...
