Stargate Story Idea thread for new series.

Doing a rewatch of SG1, and was thinking of some loose threads that the new show could pick up on if they wanted.

Example: Furlings, or how the show could have another Jack O'Neil.. because he was cloned and about 20 years have passed so he could have joined the Air Force, and be a Lt. Colnel or above by now.

So it'll probably be a year and a half before it comes out, just a thread to throw story ideas, what you think it may about, what things they NEED to talk about like Atlantis in San Fransico bay, or Destiny's crew still out there. Etc.

Personally, I think the Furlings were the Giiiant Aliens from "Crystal Skull."

As for clo'Neill, I always found the idea that he'd follow his own footsteps into the military to be kind of depressing. He's got a chance to start over from day one, while knowing all his other responsibilities and interests are being taken care of by his original (and he's got an entire world of opportunities and a whole new social environment, unlike when the SG-1 androids decided to make up Stargate missions for themselves to do).

I wouldn't mind seeing Jack Junior again, maybe if they needed to find out something about some old mission and the General wasn't available for some reason, but if we'd did, I'd want to see him doing something totally different. A photographer, an oceanographer (he seems to like sailing and being near the water), a doctor, a comedian, anything.
