the only way I can get all three series is in physical form . I don't have a kindle I have a nook why are'nt they on the nook . and will they do any more universe novels

:scream::scream::scream: I am pissed about sgu cancellation just as I am pissed about the cape cancellation :scream::scream::scream:

Fandemonium's SG-1 novels leave much to be desired. Their Atlantis ones are okay, but I wouldn't classify any of them as my favourite books.

I recentally read the Atlantis novel Homecoming. This is book 1 of the Atlantis novel relaunch which takes place after the finale. Since the movie likely won't happen, this is probably the only way we'll see a continuation.

It's not terribly impressive. After hanging around Earth for five months putting up with IOA cockfuckery, O'Neill and Woolsey manipulate loop holes which ultimately results in Atlantis being sent back to the Pegasus galaxy. Once there they discover the Wraith have stopped their infighting and are now united under some sort of Uber Queen who is ordering full scale genocide of human worlds.

It's pretty average. Not bad, but like I said, not a favourite either.

Well, that seems silly. Their entire problem was that there weren't enough humans to go around in the first place.

I tried to read a Fandemonium Atlantis novel once...it seemed like a lame fanfic to me. Something about incubi and succubi being a hybrid between ancients and Wraith...then they kill them by having Teyla sing. Seriously.

The obvious problems of this strategy are addressed and raised by Todd (who escapes captivity and returns to his hive) and we learn the Uber Queen has a long term goal which involves reaching Earth (of course and again). I'm guessing future books will expand on this plan further. The Uber Queen, BTW comes across as basically a Wraith version of Anubis, to me anyway.

heh good news we maybe getting a sgu movie so maybe they'll get around doing the stargate atlantis movie as well . also does anyone know if the stargate novels will be going to the nook any time soon ?

If by "nook" you actually mean book, than yes all of Fandemonium's Stargate novels are available as proper books.

I live in Canada, where there are no Barnes and Nobles (at least no in my province) so that pretty much means no nooks for me.

Crossroad Press are doing ebooks of the newer Stargate tie-ins in EPUB format, which works on the Nook; link

Regarding SGU novels, there's been some discussion about following up the novelization I wrote with some original books, but right now nothing has been announced.

I'd happily read the novels if they were considered canon, otherwise I'm not interested.

SGU might be a bit tricky to do novels for, given the fact that the series is more serialized than the other Stargate shows. EG, there isn't really as much time in-between episode of SGU for them to have adventures as there was an SG-1 and Atlantis. Practically, all I expect is post-finale novels like what we're now getting with Atlantis.

Just read the novel Homecoming. Not bad. Though the author has a serious love for cars. If you have read it, you should know what I mean.

I'd have thought that style would lend itself to novels much more than an episodic one, well if they were being used to resolve the storyline anyway.

I meant it would be tricky to do novels that take place during the series. Post-finale SGU novels shouldn't be any problem.
