Stargate: Atlantis - The Complete Series on Blu-Ray in July

The same thing goes for star trek which is 50$ per season.

In Canada, I've seen the SG-1/Atlantis seasons go for 25 bucks.

There's a small part of me that wants to complete the collection, but I'm not sure if I'd ever watch it again.

I have all the Atlantis DVD's, but to be honest season 4, a bit of season 5 and some of the 2/3 parters from the first season are the only things I re-watch. Apart from maybe The Seige (Part 3) and First Strike I pretty much leave season 2 and 3 to gather dust.

The recent waves of SG-1 and Atlantis releases have been priced around $20 or $25 at Wal-Mart in the US.

I looked at my walmart and didn't see any DVDs. I am in a state where there isn't a big population of science fiction fans, or atleast where I am.

I don't own any of the seasons on DVD, so I'll get this. They need to release SG-1 on blu-ray too.

Not at all; it's hard to argue with the current price even if you own a couple seasons of SG-1 already.

I'm really glad that I held off on getting Stargate Atlantis. I picked up Season 1 and part of Season 2 cheap at a Hollywood Video sale (the last disc of S2 was already gone) but I'd been holding off everything else in the hope that they'd release a Blu-Ray! Excellent!

As discussed earlier in the thread, they could release seasons 8-10 of SG-1 on Blu-ray, but those aren't the seasons that most people would want to buy if the earlier seasons weren't also available in the same format.

well the series started on showtime right. and in the first episode daniel wife was head to toe nude right. and that is the only nude sceene in the three year run on
showtime right. and then went to sci fi where it ran from season 4-10 .
