Starfleet Academy Starship Thread

The people at Trek Central and I have different definitions of what a “close up” is. :lol:

In any case, for reference here are the shots of the Athena (I *think*) as we saw them in the trailer. Seems to be quite the Transformer …

I just realized: Isn’t the insignia all of the characters are wearing the silhouette of the Athena from above? Maybe this was obvious to everybody else but me, but I just noticed this …

The nacelles seem to be foldable …

QeHpu' appears to be have been rebuilt as well, which is not surprising if the camera is going to get that close, the original model is also from 2017.

So they'll keeping up their deal from Picard S2 to borrow STO assets, then.
CBS/Paramount own the designs, I doubt there's any 'deal', they probably just asked for some Klingon ships, just like how Dave Blass asked for Fed ships for PIC 2 and 3.

This may also explain the recent Negh'Tev remaster. We might see that in the show as well.
