^ Yes but they've still not totally ignored it. I keep forgetting he got his scar in the comic.
General Grevious was also introduced in the micro-series.
that looked great. I want see how anikan handles the slavery thing and how close he goes to the dark side.
Awesome trailer.
It's long overdue the Anakin/slavery issue was addressed. I always thought Anakin should have been conflicted about the clones since they are basically slaves of the Republic.
Yes, Anakin got his facial scar after his very first fight with Ventress which I believe was shown in season one of the micro-series. Lucas always intended the micro-series to act as a direct lead into "Revenge of the Sith" and it was promoted as such. General Grevious was also introduced in the micro-series.
even as vader he did'nt like slaves.
One of the odd things about the Clone War is the lack of planetary militaries involvement.
Yes, that would have gone a long ways towards establishing Anakin as a sympathetic character instead of a selfish, sullen douchebag who didn't care about anyone but himself (and whose relationship with Padme was just infantile displacement of his mommy-fetish and therefore eeeewwwghhh...)As for the slavery storyline, this is something that should've happened a long time ago. I wish we could have a flashback of a younger pre-AOTC Anakin being sullen or pestering Obi Wan or others about going back and doing something about Tatoonine, of freeing the slaves there and being coldly reminded that he should practice lack of attachment. I never quite bought that he would let his mother's condition go. I mean, they did mention that he had been dreaming about her in AOTC, but I'm surprised that he wouldn't be doing more than that. Pressing the Jedi or his buddy Palpatine to be more active on the issue. Stealing a ship and going to do the job himself.
But I love the characters in trek so much more than wars.
