STAR WARS: How can I watch the original trilogy after the prequels?

ok guys, i've been wanting to do this for a while but haven't got into it because of work. i've been watching 'the clone wars' a lot recently and have only seen the prequels. i saw the original trilogy when they were first released.

how can i go back and watch them and what do i need to keep in mind after seeing the prequels? i'm worried the poor CGI will harm my viewing experience. is there anything else i need to take into account?

1) Jedi don't own the droids in their starfighters. The droids are assigned to them.
2) Something about living on Tatooine ages you REALLY fast.
3) Obi-Wan is a fibber. Qui-Gon made him do it.
4) Where there's a Whill, there's a way.
5) Repeated cloning turns out kind of like in the film Multiplicity. Also, some stormtroopers are non-clones.
6) Leia is on drugs.
7) The Force is still out of balance even when no one's talking about it.

Yes. Take into account that Lucas cared about something other than CGI back then and made his movies accordingly. If you appreciate that sort of thing, then don't worry about the rest of it-- you will enjoy them. If your biggest priority is digital eye candy and kewl droids, then don't watch them.

How to watch them? Numerous choices. DVD, Blueray, streaming, VHS, broadcast - take your pick.

About the CGI in the original trilogy: They used something better called "physical models". The ships were actually made out of bits of plastic. some CGI was added later when GL decided to "improve" the movies. This has generally been looked on as a bad thing.
