Star Wars: Episode VII: The Nerd Rage Awakens

I don't know about those and haven't heard any official statements on their canon status. As for discrepancies between the conclusion of Season 5 on Cartoon Network and the Season 6 "Lost Mission" episodes streamed on Netflix, I haven't noticed any. At least none that stuck in my memory and triggered any significant complaints.

Canon is:

Films
Clone Wars/Rebels
Every game/comic/book released after september 2014.

Even the holiday special is canon.

If it doesn't fall under that umbrella, then it isn't canon.

If the Holiday Special is indeed canon that means there's still hope - however slim - of a Bea Arthur action figure. Ackmena was one of the only decent things about that mess.

Who else can handle rowdy, drunken aliens and Harvey Korman at the same time if not Bea Arthur?

can't wait for this action figure

I think that Jakku is Tatooine. I think that since the war, especially knowing the history that the Skywalkers have with Tatooine, that the First Order remapped much of the galaxy, particularly the Outer Rim, and changed the name for propaganda reasons

Here's an HD version of the cinematic I put up upthread with the new Knights of the fallen empire added. Transmit to your TV/surround system and enjoy the glory of SW

Canon question. What's the canon status of TCW season 6? Canon on par with the other seasons?

Yes. 100% canon. They were officially released to the public even if they weren't aired on television and are part of the wider TCW storyline.

Thanks. I still have yet to see S6. My concern came from my understanding that the on-air ending in S5 was not originally intended, and from not knowing to what degree the released S6 material retains any vestiges from what was originally intended. I take it, then, that the released S6 meshes pretty well with what was on air?

Oh, and while we're at it, I know there're also some unfinished TCW episodes that have been released. What's their canon status?

They have or are going to use material from the unfinished episodes in Rebels. The giant crystals for instance were a reference to an unfinished TCW episode and the clones in Season Two will reference other unfinished materials.

Disney is starting their Journey to the force awakens campaign in the fall.

It's basically releasing titles that will bridge ROTJ with TFA.

I have a feeling though that they will do something at D23 since it's confirmed there is a Star Wars presentation. I can't imagine they'd do anything equal to, or less than what they did at comic con, for their own expo.

JJ has lied before.

I don't think Abrams is in charge of the marketing of this movie. So, maybe they told him the next trailer would be in the Fall.

Mid-August is close enough to be considered "Fall". Most kids are in school already by then.
