Star Wars: Episode VII: The Nerd Rage Awakens

I have thought this before from seeing other SWtFA trailers, but was hesitant to Post. This clip made me; is it just me, or does the gait and body language of "Darth Vader" coming down the ship ramp at the beginning of that clip remind you of Luke? It sure is reminiscent of how he carries himself, to me!

Five if you count Revenge of the Sith! ;)

I was actually counting ROTS, I didn't count TFA because it isn't out yet, but it kind of screws up the joke that I didn't :alienblush: Regardless, as long as the movie hasn't gotten that rating for a Hutt gentleman's club scene (and I don't mean a club filled with Twi'lecks), I think it will turn out ok

Okie dokie.

Interesting, so you disagree then with that or do you agree?

If I'd thought that what I posted carried literally no useful information, then I wouldn't have bothered posting it. So, it's pretty safe to say that I disagree.

Fair enough, I'm sure you had your reasons and would have given them if you felt the need to do so. I would in honesty be interested in hearing what they were.

Not having seen the film, I obviously don't know what the plot is. But looking at that track listing, as I put it, a sequence of events suggests itself, assuming that the tracks are at least more or less in chronological order, which is a reasonable assumption these days (but which by the way was not true for the original double vinyl soundtrack released for the 1977 film). From that, in context with the trailers, pieces really start falling into place. In addition, certain elements of the leaked plot synopses seem confirmed (not saying which ones) whereas others seem really doubtful (ditto).

I was simply trying to helpful, to point out that indeed at least some things are likely (in my estimation) going to get spoiled for anyone who looks at the track listing, even though there appear to be no gratuitous spoilers of the kind under consideration. In other words, there may be no first-class spoilers, but there are (I think probably) still actual spoilers nevertheless of relatively lesser kinds, even quite possibly things that would be surprises for people who have seen the trailers but not read any of the speculated/purportedly leaked synopses.

Ah yes, I fully understand where you're coming from now. To me, yes, I admit it can be seen as a wee bit spoilery, that's the nature of soundtracks and linking them in with the film and the context of what happens.

Yeah, I won't even look at a soundtrack before the movie release.

Story flow and spoilerific titles, I need not. Maybe TFA's soundtrack doesn't have spoilerific titles, but still, I'd prefer not to know the flow of the story. :) Bad enough I've watched more trailers than I should have. LOL!

I'm still going to avoid the track titles, but more spoilery, to me, is hearing the actual score ahead of time. I listened to the score for TPM dozens of times before seeing the film - and felt the impact of the score with the visuals was lessened. For ROTS, I knew almost 90% of plot long before the film (I was heavily invested in reporting spoilers at the time) - but that didn't detract from my enjoyment (and I think avoiding listening to the score was part of why).

For TFA, I've stayed mostly spoiler-free. And, at this point, I might as well continue to do so - track listings and all.

Not TFA awakens new, but I figured I'd share this cool video with you guys.

That was fun. I've seen The Piano Guys' videos before, but I don't think I've seen that one.
