As late as Empire the new Kenner action figures of Bespin Fatigues Luke still had a yellow lightsaber, only this time the weapon came with a knife or sword-like handle that was also yellow and the weapon looked a lot less like a lightsaber and more like a bright yellow Kill Bill sword. They didn't get Luke's lightsaber color correct until the Jedi Knight Luke figure in the black outfit was released for Jedi in 1983. Random background aliens and extras had more screen-accurate weapons than most of the classic Mark Hamill action figures ever did.

That new rumor about the villain is certainly interesting. But honestly, at this point it's still to early for me to believe this kind of stuff 100%.

I don't completely buy any of the leaked rumors and won't until and when Lucasfilm and Disney themselves issue press releases about the new film that contain details about the story. I have feelings some of what we've heard is probably true (at least to a point), but it's way too early for anyone to make judgment calls on a film that's still 14 months from a world premiere.

A bunch of new concept art that is supposed from the movie has leaked. If this is the look we can expect for VII, then I love it and it makes me look forward to the movie even more.

Agreed, a lot of cool stuff in there.

Although, like others here, I'm starting to reach a point where I don't really want to learn anything more about the movie. I was hungry at first for any small little detail, but now it's starting to go a bit overboard.

Mr Light, I doubt that will happen. Something else is going on in those particular images.

A lot of the leaked art was familiar, that I'd read descriptions months and weeks and days prior to today. That suggests, at least to me that it's real. Some of the elements also match previous leaked photos. Really getting stoked now, and it's fun imagining how those images might fit into the future saga.

So according to Kathleen Kennedy, there's only 3 more weeks of shooting left. And also, Warwick Davis was just cast, which is kinda cool.

This'll be the third Star Wars film he'll have been in (if you don't count the two Ewok TV-movies). He actually played two different roles in Episode I, one of which was Wald the child Rodian and good friend of Anakin and Kitster.

So far none of the leaked concept art has disappointed me, just increased my curiosity about the final movie. So far so good. I'm liking the visual direction the new film appears to be taking.

I can't believe they're almost done filming and we still know nothing for sure about the storyline, villain, character names, settings, etc, etc, etc. That's some amazing secrecy in this day and age. (yes I've been reading the spoilers!)
