okay fantastic start to a new series and it looks like it is set during the original Han Solo trilogy which is fantastic. I am looking forward to see how this plays out.

Holy crap! A new KOTOR comic with Zayne Carrick?!? And the first issue is out tomorrow?!? How am I only just now hearing about this? Awesome sauce!

I enjoyed KOTOR: War #1. It was great to see Zayne Carrick again and that the Carrick "luck" continues as always in new adventures. I do hope that at some point we get to see what Gryph and Jarael are up to.

When Zayne retuned home to Phaeda, he was legally drafted by his government to fight in the Mandolorian War. Serving under his old nemesis Captain Moorvis, Zayne tries to keep down the body count, even helping a Mandolorian mother and child escape.
Also there is a former Jedi Council member who left the order, in order to fight the Mandalorians who tells Zayne that you can 't win a war on the "stun" setting.
Believing that he has a group of defeated, retreating Mandalorians at his mercy, Moorvis orders an attack. Zayne leaps ahead to try and warn them, only to discover that it was a trap-- the old Jedi is a turncoat, working for the Mandalorians, and he declares that Zayne, Moorvis and his ship are all now drafted into service of the Mandalorians.
