Star Treks makes US$26 million on Saturday

Why don't you stick around the cobwebs of the TOS forum then?

And let the bashing begin of those of us who disagree with the "PRO-NuTrek" crowd. Am I right in seeing somewhere that "NuTrek" did not beat XMEN Origins:Wolverine in it's opening day take-in?

You obviously didn't read this:

If anything, it was the poster who was attacking those that LIKED it. I simply made a suggestion he leave. Simple.

Why yes i did see the post and noice that he hadn't attacking anyone in general. He was stating an opinioin much like most everyone on this board.

If you think thats make you sound smart and right you got to be kidding...Nu Trek is a success so stick that in your pipe & smoke it.
And as for this reply that is personally attacking me. I have read around certain movie sites that it indeed did not beat Wolverine on opening day. It was something like:
Wolverine-$35 Million
Star Trek- $31.7 Million

Now beingthe man I am I will not resort to a personal attack of saying childish retorts. ;)

Yeah. Final gross of Trek is going to definitely beat Wolverine. Book it.
I just heard on a news report on TV and looked it up that this movie is still lagging behind Wolverine in total ticket sales. So maybe a late surge will help? ;)

It was never expected by the studio or anyone else who knows anything to beat Wolverine in either opening weekend gross or ticket sales. So why are you making believe that this matters in any way, other than your evident desire to provoke people?

Okay then.

So do we have final numbers yet on the weekend and to-date (incl Thursday), both foreign and domestic?

I mean, numbers without an estimate for Sunday, but hard numbers, that is....
