Star Trek vs Star Wars (The battle must continue)

Civ001

Lieutenant Junior Grade
Red Shirt
So who would win in a fight Star Trek vs Star Wars this battle must continue and it must be discussed Begin!!

It really quite simple.

If the Empire kills the Federation's President, and the President's second in command, and no one else, the Federation would replace them both.

If Starfleet kills the Emperor and his second in command (Darth Vadar), and no one else, the war is instantly over.

.

Now that that's over, did you have another question?

o

There should be a new rule that anyone who starts a Trek vs Wars battle topic gets warned. Seriously! :rommie:

Star Wars people can control the fabric of space, time and all reality. I say they'd win.

...except that they are handicapped by being stupid and self-destructive. So that gives Star Trek a fighting chance.

But all Star Trek would need to do is put either Enterprise NX-01, Enterprise 1701, Enterprise A, Enterprise D, Defiant or Voyager against any Empire ship or station and Star Trek would win.

Isn't that sort of like Batman loosing the first fight but winning the next one?

Use a Trek Hero Ship and they will inevitably win. (Hopefully no one on the bridge will announce "I'm Batman!" :D )

Star Wars has never had a live action tv series. Therefore, it's not even sound to compete them against each other. It's like putting Star Trek against Alien or Star Wars against Firefly.

Luke in a X-Wing beats everything though. :rommie:

But Luke is a good guy and surely the good guys from each universe would side together against the bad guys from each universe?

Well if its the red shirts from TOS versus the storm troopers I think it would be an even match.

As for the Jedi/Sith and their Force powers Section 31 would just manufacture a virus that kills off midi-chlorians and bye-bye force powers.

The Empire could take the Federation.

But since this isn't the Federation vs the Empire, Q floats down and wipes them all out.

8472 Could probably lay the hurt on the Empire if they got involved, which they probably wouldn't.

The borg might be an annoyance for a while... if they manage to assimilate and replicate Imprial technology they could become much more dangerous.

The Bajoran prophets might be able to pull something if bajor was threatened. But as likely they wouldn't, they did nothing about the Cardies.

Q obviosly but what does he care...

Anyone else is screwed. Their fleet numbers are much smaller, their ships highly inferior 1 on 1 in combat, and their industrial capacity is highly inferior. Also the Empire's FTL drive is vastly superior, allowing them to cross in a few days a galaxy that would take at least a century for a TNG era UFP ship to cross. This gives them total strategic dominance - they can dictate where and when any engagement will take place, etc.

Not this again! I can't get into this debate again, too many bad memories...
You must have been insulted a lot at spacebattles hu? Or Stardestroyer.net? I think we should add a vs debate section here that would be cool.

Do so at your own peril, we'll have rabid canucks running around thinking their opinion is automatically superior just because they may (for all we know, the degree may be totally made up) have a degree in structural engineering by the end of the month, I guarantee!

How about a Trekbbs.com ~verse~ Stardestroyer.net, I could get into that.

Start with the choice of colors on their page ... icky.

Fans?
Star Trek: people who love it for what speaks, geeks, addicts, really dedicated people who have it on their minds all the time.
Star Wars: people who enjoy it for how it speaks, it's pop culture now, for a lot of people it's a cool fad, you can be a fan if you saw the films once and dropped twenty bucks on a shirt, who do you know has done that with Star Trek?

Life expectancy?
Star Trek: After half a century, its fandom is ever increasing, its ripple effect amplifying.
Star Wars: It's been almost as long. Hmm.

Star Trek seeks to and does inspire change, it moves us forward.
Star Wars seeks to and does elicit excitement, it's a memory.

What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? This.
