Star Trek Voyager: The Animated Series

I've got to stop doing this, posting videos in the VIDEOS thread and then and only then looking to see if it'd been posted in the most appropriate group :P...

Amazing how much better the same episode is in this animated format... TAS from 1973 definitely set the stage, so to speak, and in ways no live action show has yet to beat. It was brave of the makers to go after "Threshold" of all episodes but now I see why as it feels like a genuine improvement.
Being serious, I think that's a great idea posting in as many threads that will get it coverage. I'm sure there's people who don't come to this thread much who might never see it otherwise.
Damn, I was just going to post that, had a link copied and everything! I have been officially ninja-ed. :(
Lol, this is the first time I've ever been ahead of you guys!

I was especially touched by the brief recognition that it's Pride month.

Also, really glad I wasn't trying to drink anything while watching this.

I daresay I enjoyed this one more than the TNG one.

It just occured to me that they were lucky these salamander thingies weren't oversensitive to phaser fire. Chakotay would have had to explain in his log that he accidentally took out the captain...

Gazelle Automations, who recently made the "Star Trek: The Next Generation: The Animated Series" video has released a new video and this time it's Voyager who gets the Filmation treatment!

Quite OK and amusing actually.

And Kes was in the movie too! :techman:

Not to mention an Andorian too. I would have loved to see an Andorian crewmember on Voyager.

But Threshold of all episodes?

Well, at least those who made movie seems to have the same twisted humor as I have! :guffaw:

Really. Remember "The Offspring"? It was revealed that on a ship of 1000 souls, there were no Andorians. And they're supposed to be one of the Federation's central members.

Really. As Chuckles himself said, "If I miss, I get to be captain." Might be true if he doesn't miss...

I now want an animated anthology episode that explores all the different ways Chuckles firing on an unknown alien species evolved human could go badly.

This video is extremely well crafted in every detail, and amusing to watch.
As a kid, I loved "Threshold" because the Evolved Humans (aka salamanders) gave me Jurassic Park vibes.
