Both rank up there as two of the most buzzworthy episodes of Trek. For different reasons.

amazing. especially the comical/trixster music when the babies show up
and Chakotay doing the hand over his mouth

The animators adding in a few more alien crew was a nice touch. Voyager seemed way too human-heavy.

They should do the whole episode now.

Only two minor incongruities I noticed... one, Voyager was at warp, but her nacelles were lowered (pretty sure they have to be up when the warp engines are engaged). Two, Tuvok was still a ○○ lieutenant at this point in the series. But still, brilliant work.

I've got to stop doing this, posting videos in the VIDEOS thread and then and only then looking to see if it'd been posted in the most appropriate group :P...

Amazing how much better the same episode is in this animated format... TAS from 1973 definitely set the stage, so to speak, and in ways no live action show has yet to beat. It was brave of the makers to go after "Threshold" of all episodes but now I see why as it feels like a genuine improvement.
