Ah ok I rarely meet a fellow hockey player, well I say player I have almost stopped playing completely and I just umpire the game now even though I'm only 17. I actually prefer umpiring to playing xD

Dear Visitors,

It's time for me to take a summer break after a very long academic year. Too long, in fact ...
This means that I won't be able to share wallpapers for some time. But I do hope you've been enjoying (most of) the ones you have seen so far.
On my return, we shall continue - there are still about enough wallpapers left to be shared during the next two or so years ... You might have noticed that we've had two sets of desktop images with our main characters so far and I'd soon like to start sharing the third set. This one will be very much in Starfleet vein.
So I'd like to say goodbye to you with Tuvok and Chakotay - I hope you'll like them. BTW, I'm here till tomorrow so if you leave a comment today, I can reply to that.

I'm back after a pretty exhausting holiday.
I disappear for two weeks and the nerditude on certain threads starts reaching astronomical proportions ...

I actually haven't but I know that many people have.
I quite like him, he is a nice guy. It's just that I sometimes feel I wouldn't take a blind bit of notice if he weren't in the stories. But if he is there, I don't mind him. He is someone that you can rely on, at least. We can't expect all Starfleet officers to be tough guys, I guess. Not all of them could be Janeway ...

You know what they say, don't you? Be yourself ... always be yourself ...
Unless you can be Captain Kathryn Janeway ...

I love that line and especially that Janeway wants to talk to him/her about it later.
But Ensign Hickman can only imitate the real thing ... and that's no good for me. The Barclay hologramme does a flawless one, too.
Still, these people are but shadows of the original ...
Oh Captain, my Captain! (is that how it goes in English? I only know it in Hungarian, no idea if that's the original or not).
Anyway I remember Kate Mulgrew once talking about how fans often asked her if she wasn't afraid of being typecast and identified with Janeway. To which she said something like "would that be such a bad thing"? Love it! And I love her, too!
The best character that has ever been devised as far as films go in my book. Her knowledge, her wits, her heart, her intelligence, her humour - I adore almost everything about her. If I were on Voyager, I would want to spend most of my free time with her. Her and Leonardo da Vinci.
That is after Thomas Eugene Paris has married me, of course xD
