I am always very happy to see when people like these wallpapers. These are fun to make! The process of making them is very enjoyable but if people actually like them, that's even bigger fun …

I have started working on wallpapers for RIDDLES. So far I'm really liking the ideas I have come up with so hopefully the wallpapers will look good too. When I think about it, my head is full of ideas for VOY wallpapers - it's a pity I have no time to actually realize them all.

In the German dubbing his name was mispronounced as Borak.....

 

Seeing him brings back fond memories of Blood Fever...

 

I love that ep. And even though I don't really know The Original Series, I remember watching an ep that kind of throws some more light on the events in BLOOD FEVER. It was with Spock in the second season I think … but I don't really remember it any more.

 

Talking about BLOOD FEVER ...

 

Yep, that may be where the blood fever concept originated but possibly not (I know TOS a bit but, like you, I am not a Trekkie nor expert in Trek-lore)...

Nice wallpaper for the VOY rendition of the ep. I don't recall any JC vibes in that one (more like B'Elanna/Tom), but it was a pretty good ep for those two and Chak (and anyone else wearing those sexy, grey jumpsuits)...

 

THE THAW

It was season 2, the title was Amok Time. Spock starts experiencing the beginning stages of Pon Far. Kirk and McCoy accompany him to where he is supposed to meet his intended (a young woman named T'Pring) and the rest of the wedding party which includes the leader of the Vulcan people, a woman named T'Pau.

Spoilers

T'Pring calls for the challenge, the koon ut kalifee. She chooses that Spock will fight Kirk. The reason, she wants to marry another man named Stonn but doesn't want him to fight I guess.

I think the condition is referred to as blood fever at one point.

 

Jeri Ryan seems to be very popular these days - due to her comeback in Mr. Boring's new series.
But then … has she ever been unpopular? I doubt it. So here she is from SCIENTIFIC METHOD:

 

The PICARD show has good things and bad things. Alas, Seven's appearance was not among the good things so far. They made her an avanging angel, ready to go through the world with guns blazing. It doesn't keep me from watching PICARD, but I prefer Jean-Luc's and Sevens stories shown in the literature novels (relaunch etc.).

Seven is a warrior, a former soldier.

To quote retired General Colin Powell, soldiers kill people and break things. Period.

I found it refreshing that she finally got to be who she is.

 

So caring for elderly - like Seven did in the novels for her Aunt Irene - is considered weak and should be left to nurses instead of family members? Borg on the other hand simply kill off weak individuals.

PIC Seven is more like a Mirror Seven. And Mirror Seven is definitely a warrior - like Mirror Kes!

Iliana Ghemor is a warrior - made a warrior by the Obsidian Order. I can understand that Seven tries to survive in the AQ.
