I have recently edited these pictures, some of which you have never even seen in their original form.

It tells you something about their personalities (The Telepath vs. The Warrior).

Nice, TE! I like the rainbow halo and how it fades into the background. The contrast between Seven and Kes as already noted, is also present in the sharper edges around Kes's portrait vs. Seven fading more into the background (in perhaps a more covertly menacing way... like a drone before it attacks). Good job.

Sorry, but I really hate "The Gift".

There is only one TV episode I hate even more. Unfortunately it's also a Voyager episode.

The wallpaper is a good work artistically and I really like the left third of it!

What a missed occasion to have a true scene including a form of dialogue between Kes and Seven! Instead, we had a dialogue between Kess, Janeway and the Doctor above a Seven having lost consciousness.
(still think that Kes would have been a great help in Seven's personal development even briefly.

Seven was still pretty raw at that point.

She may well have interpreted Kes's "help" as an attack.

Perhaps though I'm not so sure. Look at Seven's reaction towards Janeway: she only tried to attack her because of she felt attacked, thinking that the Captain wanted to withdaraw something from her (but at the end, there was no harm), while Kes had nothing to win from Seven. Only her wellbeing and even if Seven was still very Borg, there is something which is called insinct and I'm pretty sure that quickly Seven
would have realized that Kes wanted him no harm, just help her to accept her new condition and environment...
