Star Trek Voyager Desktop Wallpapers

Apparently Chakotay is popular …
So here he is again … this time together with Janeway from SCORPION:

Thanks everyone for all the likes and the feedback. I'm glad you like these wallpapers, the one with the Hirogen is one of my personal favourites too. There will be one with them sometime in the future which I like even more (for the ep FLESH AND BLOOD).

The Hirogen are basically my fav enemy on VOY (together with the Borg of course). Part of the reason I really like them is that they are basically blue and since blue is my second fav colour, I really like working with them.

I just wish we had an enemy that could somehow be associated with red. That's my fav colour but we don't really have red enemies on VOY.

But I like most colours so the Borg green is pretty pleasing to my eyes too. You might also have noticed I often use purple but simply because most things look very good with a purple background. Brown is not a big fav with me (although I am getting warmed up to it) but there'll be one wallpaper for Janeway in SACRED GROUND, which is mostly brown and looks pretty good, I think (you might recall that brown robe she was wearing during the ceremony so I made one picture in that shade).

Talking about colours, I hope you'll like the purplish-reddish-pinkish shade of today's wallpaper as well:

<chuckle> Really? It seems to me that, au contraire, Chakotay looked like very confortable to act against his Captain's order (hey, for the very first time since the Val Jean, he was in command of a pretty nice vessel and an experienced and extended crew) because of his personal but deviated opinion of Borg*. Indeed for him, Borg remained unworthy and untrustworthy (and yet, he had met and lived, for a brief period ex-Borg who had managed to free themselves from the Collective and were trying to resume a normal life). And there, he had an unexpected occasion to get some of them to bite the dust. For his ego (I guess that being the First Officer of an omnipotent and interventionist Janeway, it must be frustrating at the end), it was pleasant to be the only chief on board.

*notice how easy it was for him to make the decision to eject the Borgs who were on board, he who said respecting life in all its forms.

For me, Chakotay's betrayal was the very first but big hack in their professional and personal association. The second was in Equinox, when he opposed rontally to Janeway. And betwee,; some minor
disagreements, essentially based on value judgments about Seven, Tom, etc... .

Anyway, VERY GODD JOB, Thomas Eugene! :techman:

And for today here is a cute ex-Borg: MEZOTI

A lovely little girl who had the potential to become a determining element in Seven's personal
development, maybe more than Icheb. From the 4 ex-Borg who were board, Icheb and her were the most enjoyable (in the same time, we heard very little if ever, the twins -> I wonder why they were hired if it was just to play dumb and invisible kids?!)
