Sounds like what we'd expected it to be like ( well, except for the opening...that's the part I want to see the most!)
That has me very excited. While I can't say that I'll be there opening night, I guarentee I will be at Quantum of Solace within the first day or two to see this. Sounds awesome!
'Bout time! The trailer sounds pretty good.
The best part about all this(Aside from obvious coming awesomeness of the trailer) is that the vast majority of people seeing 007 will have no clue this is coming

Can't say that really does anything for me. You know, I really want to look forward to this movie, but all the available info does not make me look forward to it.
To be fair, there is nothing inheritantly bad in this trailer description, but there's also not anything that's any good. Teenage rebellious Kirk driving a car over a cliff, being chased by cops? This is the first time we'll ever see a civilian law enforcement agency on a Federation planet in all Trek. Kirk and Spock arguing seems forced and unnecessary. Why does everything always depict the best of friends being bitter rivals when they first meet? That's becoming as much a cliche as two best friends hitting it off great when they first meet.

Thing is, i dont raelly want to see this on the internet, id rather see it in the theatre.
I was disapointed not to see it attatched to Quantum over here, but im hoping we hear if its attatched to another movie so i can just brave the crap that is showing just to see the trailer.
I dont want to get to a point where i frustratingly click on the link to youtube for grainy shitty footage from a cell phone with someones left ear sticking out.

Sorry for being the optimistic one, but I like what I've read so far.
And let me just say, being as I am an avid fan of (almost) everything featuring 4 wheels in it, that I'm so thrilled that the first real footage we'll see of the new movie will be that of a vintage sports car!
And I can't wait to see those hoover-bikes...

Sorry, have you read the script? Do you know WHY Kirk and Spock (apparently..) don't get along as soon as they first meet?
I sure don't... so I reserve my judgement until next May!

Have seen it on Friday. It is really very good.
I think the trailer sounds okay for a second hand text description (btw, TrekMovie confirms the scenes fall in line with what's in the movie.) But it's hard to take live action and put it in to text and even expect it to have the same impact. The cliff thing sounds cool I think!
I have only one question. Where is the Enterprise?
