Star Trek : The Stalking Begins

Ok just kidding...or maybe not. The future will show.

From Zoe Saldana's interview in Esquire :

ZS: I've developed a real respect for Trekkies.

ESQ: Talk to me after your first Comic-Con.

ZS: I've already had a [fan] come up to the door of my house. And I had a driver for another movie who brought all of his Star Trek memorabilia with him. He opened the trunk and there was this shrine. He had stacks of pictures he wanted me to sign. He ended up being the nicest guy, but it definitely freaked me out at first.

I saw an Australian interview with Pine and Quinto where they spoke of how daunting it was to enter the Star Trek world.

I wonder if these actors know that from here on there are going to be fans who will obsess about them?

For an actor I hope they are aware before going in that Star Trek is more than just another role.

I've read stories about these and earlier Trek actors being warned, but also that the real meaning didn't actually sink in until it was happening to them.

I'm pretty sure that Nimoy let Quinto know!
From a November 2007 article:

Carnegie Mellon University has a new article about their famous alum Zachary Quinto. The new Spock gives advice to students and talks about his roles on Heroes and Star Trek. Regarding Trek, Quinto said that Nimoy warned him about taking on the role:
"I met Leonard Nimoy in the elevator the day they announced the movie. He turned to me and said, ‘You have no idea what you’re in store for’ and then walked away."

Can we like, get the frakking message out in the fanboy community that it is NOT okay to do stalkathons of Zoe Saldana?

I mean, the woman has a life, and she says she respect us. However, as always, there are those of us who are going to embarrass the larger community. There's always a jerk hanging out in the woodshed somewhere.

Fanboys back to make us look like stupid people  leave the poor gal alone people.
