Star Trek: The Rings of Time

To be honest, "The Omega Glory" is not one of my favorite episodes so I doubt I'll ever be inspired to write a book about Captain Tracey. But maybe someone else will someday?

I've got some other ideas I want to do first . . . .

Jim Kirk stated that Ron Tracey was one of the most experienced captains in the Starfleet. I for one, would like to read about how such an experienced captain could suffer a tragic downfall like he did.

I think The Omega Glory explains the downfall of Ron Tracey pretty well.

From a psychological point of view, do you think that the death of his crew, and his inability to prevent such a catastrophe, led to Ronald Tracey having a nervous breakdown, thereby causing his actions on Omega IV, thereafter?

There are certain levels of mental breakdowns and insanity, and it looks like Ron Tracey definately showed the signs of someone having such a meltdown.

Also, what type of command style do you think Ron Tracey had? Was he well liked by his crew?

Is this the real cover?

^ Well, the solicitation from Pocket says "Cover Not Final," so who knows?

It's pretty snazzy, though. I like it.

And it fits the book . . . .

yeah that rendering of the cover is great - way better than the one first shown in the other thread...
