I wouldn't include ST:TFF as a good movie or good Trek either. In the same way that ST:TFF stunk, so did ST:TFB. But, ST:TFB was worse than TFF because it wasn't Trek, but called itself as such.
Obviously they've been discovered because.. FROM THE ARTICLE I POSTED A LINK TO
We have never discovered a white hole
White holes have long been speculated about in Science Fiction
white holes have no solid evidence to support their existence
plus am sure it would of cropped up on the news.
. Star Trek had to stop masturbating to its own canon
The true science of TOS, eh? No time-travel through black holes, you say?
Name the episode and series it came from."Captain's Log, Stardate 3113.2: We were en route to Starbase 9 for resupply when a black star of high gravitational attraction began to drag us toward it. It required all warp power in reverse to pull us away from the star but like snapping a rubber band, the breakaway sent us plunging through space, out of control to stop here, wherever we are."![]()
Nobody will argue that. But since they're paying for it to begin with, they certainly have all the rights to do what they want. If you're so concerns about trekkers (which I consider to be a bunch of minoritary freaks fluent in Klingon, which I'm not), you are more than welcome to pay for it yourself. But, in the end, Paramount wasn't concerned about the Trekkers, they were concerned about making a buck
I don't think it the concept that's the hardest to come with but the story itself. And they've actually down so and created a world forcing them to continue doing so. That's a welcomed renewal and I certainly am looking forward to more of thie alternate timeline. Whenever I fell nostalgic I'll always have my TOS/TNG DVD collection.they really wanted to change things so they could write more rubbish using the concepts from TOS because when it really comes down to it, they are lazy too.

Aren't we touchy tonight
A quick google checks says there just theories still as did that TV show The Universe, loved that show
hers what my google check says

I don't know a lot of stuff that should make it on the news doesn't. But I googled some stuff myself and you are right. I was wrong. Oh well it happens I'm human.
It's part of a mathematical theory, which relies on the basis that neither matter or energy can be destroyed in the universe so they theorized where is all the light energy going if it's going into a black hole. Seeing as this would destroy one of the laws of physics being the before mentioned Matter and energy can not be destoryed the theory of White Holes was created and seemingly makes sense because if the Black Holes are bleeding energy out of our universe would it have not been destoryed by now.?
Do you know how to get Deuterium? Do you know what Deuterium even is? Why is something that can be retrieved from water so hard to find in Voyager.

Tomorrow is Yesterday.
I don't post a lot, but I have been a member of these forums for many years. Plus, I have been a Trekker since I started watching TV.

So are you comparing ST:TFB with City on the Edge of Forever?btw FC had time travel, TOS had it wait every TREK had it and more worser so called science![]()
Time travel is great, but what's the point for Nero? He didn't mean to travel back in time, but now that he has and his goal is to destroy the Federation (and he has a well armed ship with lots of photon torpedoes), what does he do? He waits for 25 years.
Now, class, we can infer that a black hole is what pulled the Enterprise in, throwing it through time and space to the 1960's above Earth. Can anyone answer what happened to the Narada and the Jellyfish in the new Star Trek film?

Did they get married and live happily ever after ?
that he calculated when Spock would travel through time.

He waited 25 years because he was so pissed at Spock for screwing him over that he calculated when Spock would travel through time. He waited for Spock because he wanted him to suffer what he suffered (i.e. the loss of his home and those he loved).

It was postulated as part of one internally consistent solution for black holes that preserved conservation, true. I think Hawking's work on black hole raditation (i.e., Hawking radiation), obviates the need for white holes, since the black holes eventually "evaporate." But it's all still a bit clunky because it relies on quantum mechanics to solve a relativistic problem.
the Narada was also captured by and embroiled in a battle with the Klingons. it's alluded to in the movie.
