Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

I love having another mold model of Voyager-J but I’m loathe to preorder when none of the Star Trek Library ships haven’t shipped yet.

I got an email from MR that they were going to ship the SNW 1701 about two weeks ago - but i dont think they did. I noticed that the TOS 1701 plaque came in recently, which i also pre-ordered, so possible they knew that was coming shortly and held off shipping until it arrived.

I received my SNW 1701, it pretty much looks exactly like the photos online - the biggest surprise, it's original Eaglemoss collection sized - i now see the sales page says that's the case, but either that's new or I completely overlooked it previously. The only semi-disappointment is the book is a paperback, I had hoped it would be a hardback.

Does the book have any new info or images?

The book's text is more about the show/characters, with a little bit about the ship, there didn't seem to be any new info on designing the ship that wasn't in the Eaglemoss magazine, the stuff about SNW was of course new.

The behind-the-scenes drawings and orthos are all pretty much the same as was used in the Eaglemoss magazine, supplemented with lots of photos of the cast.

Anyone know what time the single ships usually drop from Fanhome? Or do I need to plan on refreshing all day waiting for the Intrepid?

finally popped up just a bit ago. So I grabbed it. Might try and pick up the Obena Class next month and then that will be it for a while.

The first issue of the Foundation series has arrived, the Imperial Jump Ship.
According to the lore, it's a Commercial FTL jumpship that entered service around 11640 Era Imperial and is seen on the show at 12240 E.I. While I normally dispose of stands and boxes, I'll retain them for the IJS to keep it protected. Might consider ordering the Invictus after payday.

I was supposed to receive the Battlestar Triton today but Master Replicas shipped the Battlestar Atlantia instead.

EDIT: I've ordered myself a replacement Triton. My other half is not impressed with the idea of getting multiple ships whose only difference is the name print...

I love love love having the modern Trek ships in the classic Eaglemoss size! Looking at the Enterprises, I wish each Constitution-vlass variant in STO could mix-and-match all their pieces. Imagine the SNW Connie with Kelvin nacelles and Omega-class saucer!

I considered whether the smaller Cerritos could be more easily turned into the Freedom class from LD s5 “The New Next Generation” but that would require serious plastic cutting. I don’t think I’ve got the tools for that. Even then, how stable would the model be? My Suspiria’s Array smashed easily…

Those look pretty great. I never picked up the JJ-prize or Discoprise but at that size it might be worth it to complete my “every Enterprise” display.

I did get the Intrepid today. What a gorgeous model. Now just gotta find a place for it. lol.
