Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

Columbia has enough colour and structural differences to be made. We've had about 5 Voyagers so they might still have variants of others. Or the Columbia and Avenger as specials.

vulcan corvette/cruiser and shenzhou plaque arrived:

love the vulcan ship, been looking forward to it since "lethe" aired.

this is the first time i've gotten a plaque, impressed with the quality and weight. but it's going on eBay to feed the machine.

Strange looking ship that one. Looks a bit too aggressive to be a Vulcan ship IMO.
it's a little angry looking, the cockpit gives it a scowl. but i like this ship, good model too.

wish they'd used transparent parts for the rear engines and cockpit window. they didn't even paint the window, so i'll have to do that myself.

paint is a little weird on the engines:

There's basically only two stores in my city that sell models, and I get most of mine from the store that's closer to me. But since I was checking out the neighborhood where the further one is (it's almost on the other side of town, but on Sunday, I can get there on just one bus), I poked in to see what models they had. Most of them were stuff I already have or wasn't really interested in, but I settled on getting the Borg Queen's diamond.

While I believe the Borg were weakened by their extreme overuse on Voyager, they did give us a couple of interesting designs, particularly this one. They did a great job on the model. It's right up there with the Romulan drone and the 22nd century Klingon BoP in terms of intricate detail. The sharp edges are a friendly reminder that these are not kids' toys (not that grown adults like us would ever play with them ).

Kudos to Eaglemoss on this one. Not a ship I was gunning for (that would be the prototype Voyager), but happy to have it and a beautiful model.

Sternbach concept has arrived in the UK.

The webstore has reopened in Australia. Only has a few recent specials and XLs but no regular ships in stock.

Could be both. It was a large shuttle in the Prime Universe, but the Mirror Universe version we saw was the same design, but starship-sized.
there's no real way to get a scale on the one we see in the mirror universe. since the discovery crew recognized it as a vulcan cruiser, it must be mostly identical to its prime counterpart which was clearly not 142 meters -- you can even see how it compares to sarek standing in front of it in the opening of "lethe". definitely 142 feet. 43 meters.

But it’s the Discovery universe, where ships are bigger for no reason.

Hey guys,

I'm thinking of cancelling my subscription; however, I'm still owed a couple of ships that were apparently out of stock. Will Eaglemoss still fulfill ship me the ships that I am owed after I cancel my subscription?

If you have already paid for them, yes.
