Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

I wonder if this was a new run or they found more of the seemingly never ending Eaglemoss stock.
Master Replicas has a full scale USS Defiant plaque up for pre-order.. bought it instantly.
It's funny. I could have sworn I instant purchased the OG 1701 full- sized plaque months ago, but when checking on it earlier this week, I can't seem to find any record of having done so. I guess I'll have pre-order another and hope two don't show up.

Fanhome has announced they are bringing back “fan favorite models back due to popular demand.” These are brand new die-cast ship models being made by Fanhome, based on models previously released by Eaglemoss before that company went bankrupt in 2022. These ships are not part of the regular ongoing Star Trek Starships Die Cast Collection subscription, and will be sold on an individual basis only. The new line of rereleases includes 20 XL size ships (between 11-12 inches in length), some of which have not been seen in years. Additional ships from this new series of XL ships will be announced next week during NYCC. Both the Enterprise and Cerritos will be available to buy at a special show price of $85 at New York Comic Con (booth #1301). Quantities at the show will be very limited. Both will be available to purchase online starting on October 15th at fanhome.com.

Master Replicas is now selling the old Diamond Select Toys TOS Phaser and Communicators

IIRC, wasn't a Diamond Select TOS phaser used in Enterprise Season 4?

I think they also used their Phase Pistol toy in later seasons as well.

Battlestar Galactica (TOS)

I was unaware until checking the ol' Facebook this evening but Master Replicas is releasing two TOS Colonial battlestars (Artemis class if you go by BSG: Deadlock lore). These are name variants of the original Galactica: Pegasus and Triton. The Triton is Club exclusive. Release dates for both is December 2025.

The website states: "In the original 1978 version of Battlestar Galactica we were told there were 12 different battlestars but only eight of them were referred to by name. Master Replicas is releasing models of all eight. "

These eight are: Acropolis • Atlantia • Columbia • Galactica • Pacifica • Pegasus • Rycon • Triton

Until now, two TOS battlestars had been released: Galactica and gold Galactica.

I'm excited for the announced two. But I'm unsure whether I need all eight and whether there's enough demand on the market for that. On the other hand, I'd love to see the blue-striped Columbia BSG-83 from Blood & Chrome, and perhaps a manufacturer could deem it worth to produce the 13 TOS-era Constitution-class starships?

They are bringing back alot of classics. I wonder if these are new models or if they are using the old Eaglemoss molds.

PRAYING for a corrected/accurate 1701-A

IMO these are likely to be unaltered reissues of the Eaglemoss XL models. However... there has never been an XL version of the "Beyond" Enterprise, right? Is Fanhome going to sell the special-sized model for the same price as the XL models?

Released at an average of 2 per month
Available in the UK and USA only
Comes in new boxes and magazines, but the content remains the same as the original Eaglemoss editions
The models themselves are unchanged on this release

I think this is the most amusingly egregious overuse of model repaints to generate extra revenue. And the only thing that's changing is the name plate!

I'm curious, though, where that first fleet picture came from. Those look like hybrids between TOS and NuBSG battlestar types...

The video game Deadlock. The Artemis-Class is inspired obviously by the TOS Battlestar

I never once noticed that TOS Battlestar behind the TOS Basestar before in Daybreak

And a TOS Viper in the Miniseries

Huh, I've watched the miniseries probably a dozen times, I never once noticed that TOS Battlestar behind the TOS Basestar before

Well, that particular shot is from the series finale, but I remember a picture of a TOS Battlestar that was allegedly in the museum in the miniseries, but the shot was cut or it was a behind-the-scenes photo/render.
