The new Eaglemoss-style models are going to be from FanHome.Yep. Saw that too. So, if MR lost the license to sell any more Trek models, what about the new ones we heard about coming from PIC & SNW? Do they still have the license to create new ones or is that transferring to Trek Dock as well? I'm kind of confused how this is all getting worked out and even MR said the whole licensing thing with the ships is "complicated".![]()
Not a fan of the long wait times for fulfilling orders. I had a two and a half month wait for one. I gave MR the benefit of the doubt that they weren't practicing fraud, and they weren't. The upside is that I used that time to reorganize my displays so everything would fit neatly when it finally arrived.
I see that Trek Dock prices are somewhat lower on the XL range. If they offer free shipping, well...
I also hope that Fanhome will offer ships from the future Discovery era. Still holding out for an Armstrong.
(As an aside, I'm still shaking my head that the Titan was re-christened the new Enterprise. It seems a clunky and backwards thing to do. I suspect Voyager supplanted the Enterprise as the new flagship considering its astonishing survival in the Delta Quadrant and spectacular return. How could Enterprise compete with that?)
I’d bet they do a bunch of stuff from SNW, Prodigy and Picard before circling back to Lower Decks and Discovery. I think there’s more pent-up demand for the new ship designs from those shows.I saw a tweet from Ben Robinson saying Fanhome would be doing the Dauntless, Protostar and Voyager-A from Prodigy so I would assume Disco and LD will get similar treatment.
Good to knowI got an email from Eaglemoss a little while ago that they’ve sold the remaining stock to a place called Trek Dock, so if there’s anything anyone is missing:
Hero Dock

It could simply be that it's a Starfleet tradition that the flagship will always be the Enterprise. IMO, the term "Federation flagship" or "Starfleet's flagship" is little more than a title and doesn't take away from other ships in the fleet with impressive achievements.(As an aside, I'm still shaking my head that the Titan was re-christened the new Enterprise. I had something saved at Check out and the sent a reminder? When I clicked on it it went to the same password protected page. Odd thing is when you click on the lock symbol in the upper right corner it asks If I am a shop owner. The site now appears to be password protected, for some reason.
Either that or it's just broken. I feel like MR's website did something similar when they locked it down for a couple hours prior to a drop. Maybe it wasn't supposed to have gone live yet.I had something saved at Check out and the sent a reminder? When I clicked on it it went to the same password protected page. Same thing happens now just going to that site with any browser. This does not look like a " too much traffic " issue, more like a hosting lock from a dispute.
