Wow. That’s horrible. Total bait and switch, if true.

Well, yes, the pictures (renders? who knows) they used to advertise it have always shown the correct version, but the actual model doesn't looks like that.
The bridge looks exactly the same as on the regular model to me.

And according to the comparison pictures here, the EM model has the Where no Man has Gone Before end caps, not the The Cage ones.

I've read in a recent review that the lower pylons are bent on the XL just like they were on the original. Is that accurate?Got the DS9 Special Issue today. Very nice. heavier than I thought it would be.
It is unfortunately. It is just a larger copy of the original model, warts and all...I've read in a recent review that the lower pylons are bent on the XL just like they were on the original. Is that accurate?
Any chance of a pic of it with some of the ships, for scale?Got the DS9 Special Issue today. Very nice. heavier than I thought it would be.
Totally understandable, but I think shipping interruptions have already occurred, in all Trek lines, as well as the DeLorean build, due to extensive widespread CV problems in China. Only going to get worse, I’m afraid. It must be bad, because Eaglemoss has never sent out a communication of this (or any other) nature to its customers, outside of marketing announcements for new releases. We’ll see...Dear Collector,
If there’s one thing we all have in common, it’s a love of collecting. But there’s something else we share and that’s been made abundantly clear these past few weeks — it’s a love of our customers, families, friends, coworkers and neighbors. That’s why we at Eaglemoss Hero Collector made the decision to have our employees around the world work safely from home until such time when all of us — colleagues and customers — can once again return to some semblance of normalcy.
With enhanced health and safety protocols firmly in place to safeguard against spread of the COVID-19 virus, we also want to assure you that we presently anticipate no major delays in the shipments of products already in our warehouse to customers in the US, CANADA and MEXICO. Further, we are not experiencing any delays or interruption of service by carriers we use to deliver shipments to you. Our warehouse facilities and personnel are following stringent hygiene guidelines in the handling and packing of products to minimize health risks.
As far as products coming from our manufacturing partners overseas, we anticipate moderate delays as a result of production gradually ramping down after recent closures and potential delays in U.S. Customs clearance.
Our customer service lines and corporate functions remain fully operational to support online store and subscription sign-up sites. We will keep you informed of any delays and changes that may impact your orders.
At this time of great change and challenge, we remain grateful for valued customers and look forward to continuing the pursuit of the passion for collecting that drives us all.

Yes! Let's hope they don't fuck it up. Also, Ben promises the La Sirena (and other ships from Picard) for this time next year.Issue 180 is the First Contact Borg Cube

They're different? I'd have thought VOY just reused the available material from FC.That's the first time in ages that I can remove a ship from my wishlist.
I hope they're really recreating the surface structure of the First Contact version in some way and not just use the similar VOY CGI model.

Unless that was a physical model, instead of CG.
