Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

Ok then. I did understand what you meant by cheaper, I just don't work with Dollars but thank you for clarifying that I could in theory save $15 on something. - which having thrown that figure into Google, is only a saving of around £12 or €13 which to be honest, isn't much at all.

Personally, as someone that wants the XL's, but doesn't have them it makes sense to subscribe at this point. Saving $45 when buying 3 of them is worth it. I just hope they'll announce more XL's in the future.

That leaves 2 spots. I'm guessing they'll be the reliant and the excelsior but I think if they did the klingon BOP in the landed position with Bounty on the side that would be cool.

We have 4 XLs so far:
1. Enterprise (TOS)
2. Enterprise-D
3. Enterprise-E
4. Enterprise NX-01 (for pre-order on Previews)

The 8 rest? Enterprise TMP, (Enterprise-A?), Enterprise-B, Enterprise-C, Voyager, Defiant, Excelsior, Reliant, Discovery?

So - small update, talking about requesting email notifications for things out of stock, I went to sign up for a notification when the E-J would be available and it errored-out, giving me this:
I'm sorry there has been a problem processing your request, our network team have been notified. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have cause

If you believe there is a problem with the system please let us know using the Technical Support Form
The link to this "Technical Support Form" just redirects you back to the homepage - no form. So that's broken too.

Additionally, I went and placed the pre-order for the XL Enterprise-E and...same frickin' error! Happened when trying to pay both with credit card and PayPal.

Complete shit, with these people. A couple of years ago, I would always stick up for them, even when some people started experiencing some occasional bad encounters. But it has gotten to the point that everything about them is falling apart. If the damn models weren't so good, I would have canceled my subscription by now. What is going on with these people?!?

To be honest, any more I'm just "if it comes, it comes" as long as I don't get charged for something that never arrives.

Note that I never received the AGT Enterprise subscriber bonus even after several emails.

I will say that's a depth they haven't gotten to yet - charging for something that never arrives. There was some weirdness in the very beginning when the Brits were still running it - they charged for things a month or more in advance, and then eventually arrived much later. They eventually changed it to charge upon shipping, which was more in keeping with American business practices. I'm sure they got a lot of complaints that such behavior was normally associated with credit card fraud here in the States, but they corrected it quickly and likely had no idea that what they were doing was questionable here.

I am about to write a long email about all the horrible things that have been going on lately. I think I still have some of the original U.K. addresses in my email archive somewhere. Maybe I'll drop them a line to tell them how horribly Pennsylvania is wrecking their business and brand. I am genuinely curious if/how they respond. I will post the email I write and responses here so that everyone sees the progress (if any).

A new news article has been published at TrekToday:

Last week, at Star Trek Las Vegas, Eaglemoss announced the Official Star Trek Starships XL Edition, a new collection of oversized Star...

This already annoys me, they're once again not the same scale. I know it seems a bit silly to complain about that but I'd really love a collection of correctly scaled ships.

I wish they would just implement something where you could manage your account by yourself. Some basic account management where you could change credit cards or addresses and something that shows if your subscribed to binders, specials, etc. without having to call or email.

Great would be some sort of queue where you could even opt out of ships if you didn't want that particular one (Sort of Netflix for ships).

So, which do you want, a Runabout that you have to handle with tweezers and a magnifying glass, or a Voth City Ship you have to build a hangar-sized addition onto your house for? :D

Saw this posted online. I have to admit, I'm digging the look of the Shenzhou. The model looks to be pretty large too, compared to the regular lineup.

I thought that was a fan printed one...........saw it a few weeks back. There's one guy already making props with a 3D printer that look pretty damn amazing.

I received an invitation to write a review for Eaglemoss on Trustpilot.com. Did anyone else get it?
No I have not - Interesting! I wonder if this is corporate putting feelers out after having received a growing number of complaints. Maybe I'll save my screed for that one - if the review request actually gets sent to me, that is.
