I have had up and down success with the stands. Sometimes it seems to be the model is balanced funny and other times it just seems like the clear plastic piece doesn't fit in the base very well.
The stand with my Tholian is hard to use- the way it slips on is not stable but if I work at it suddenly it snaps into place and is very secure.
Any subscribers in Canada receive any of the special issues yet?
Yeah, the Tholian's given me some grief too. I maintain that having a front-heavy ship and having the clip attach at the back is rarely a good idea. In that ship's case, they arbitrarily decided to have a separate nose section made of metal, which results in an unsightly seam line cutting across.
If they end up doing the 23rd century Tholian ship (remastered version, please), I hope it looks a bit better.
Not sure, but I've seen the Kelvin at a local store.
Mine too. Basically a repaint of the standard TOS-E w/ bussard spires, but still quite nice looking. The only error I can see with it is it has the standard production bridge, as opposed to the Pilot bridge which the original used. Other than that, love it and glad it's finally arrived! My ISS Enterprise came in today.

So this pic of the Ent-A here... http://www.thetrekcollective.com/2016/02/eaglemoss-klingon-transport-enterprise.html has got me thinking. Thinking about how it was supposedly going to be much improved over the 1701 release. And all I see is a different paint-job (which is nice and all), but what about those weirdo see-through plastic nacelle caps?
...Except the Eaglemoss 1701 is dull grey. Anyway, I'm happy with the new paint-job, it's clearly azteced this time. (On the saucer, at least.) As for the nacelles, the problem I mean is that the blue part takes up much more real estate on the top than it should. They didn't (or couldn't) bother at all with the detailing so they've just gone with a solid blue piece of plastic.Such that the ship just looked bright white on screen. So that is the model they made.
This is strange - I was under the impression that the E-A was going to be a whole new model, retooled to be more accurate than the TMP refit model. It still has that stupid clear blue piece in the front of the nacelle! The accuracy of the paint job is really a moot point when that thing is still there - just don't understand the reasoning behind that.
The rest of it does look nice, though.

Sure, it's not as bad as the ridiculously non-existent deflector on their USS Appalachia, but it's still not great considering they're expecting us to buy the Enterprise all over again.

I haven't pulled the trigger on any of these yet, but I'm getting very close to doing so. Here's a question - is the TOS Galileo shuttlecraft only available in the shuttle multipack? I see it on the Eaglemoss site that way, but not all by itself.
