Po became the queen of a very important planet, so they probably redacted the entire incident, if anyone but Tilly even knew about it.

Maybe he missed all the subspace chatter about it. It's been known to happen.

Pike isn't the only party in the dark, though. It's pretty clear the ship has never been to Xahea before, and when this planet pops up as a Red Destination, nobody suggests this might have anything to do with Queen Po. It's only when Tilly finds out they are at Xahea that Po gets a mention, and draws blank faces all around.

So it would seem the would-be queen hid in a container that was transported far, far away from Xahea before it ended up aboard the Discovery; met Tilly and nobody else aboard the ship; had some ice cream; and was quietly beamed offboard at a random location from where she found suitable passage back to Xahea (within a day!), with Tilly never writing any sort of a report. I mean, who would read those anyway?

But if somebody did, Tilly would be the one person capable of hiding everything she wanted hidden. Faking all the computer records would be a breeze for her, but she wouldn't have to: everything she blurts out is sort of ignored, as her every claim, from scientific discoveries to childhood crushes, is so implausible to start with that she has to do an extra song and dance to actually establish that she's for real that time. I mean, she could have delivered her Royal Visit report to Saru, or Lorca, or whomever, in person, with a holographic presentation and pistachio ice cream samples, and all she'd get is another blank stare and a noncommittal "Mm-hmm."

The Xaheans apparently never raised an interstellar ruckus, since there was no call out for the missing heir during those days or weeks she spent in the cargo crate. And Po apparently made it back in time, or phoned home and said she had decided to rule over everybody after all and surely nobody would mind if she was a bit late to the throne.
