Star Trek Q&A -- Appreciation Thread ****SPOILERS*****

Re: Star Trek Q&A -- Appreciation Thread ****SPOILERS***

I might have to reread Articles of the Federation once again, considering the mood I'm in.

Re: Star Trek Q&A -- Appreciation Thread ****SPOILERS***

It's not just the books themselves that keep me coming back here. It's the people behind those books.

Re: Star Trek Q&A -- Appreciation Thread ****SPOILERS***

What? You mean... there are people hiding behind the books? (Eyes bookshelf furtively) Are they related to the elves who turn out the refrigerator light?

Re: Star Trek Q&A -- Appreciation Thread ****SPOILERS***

^Yes. And the ones who steal your socks, and the ones that move the remote, and...

Re: Star Trek Q&A -- Appreciation Thread ****SPOILERS***

^Writers are people too, aren't they?

Or are they soulless automatons whose only purpose is to corrupt society from within and take over and enslave us with their literary works?

Re: Star Trek Q&A -- Appreciation Thread ****SPOILERS***

^ We can't be both??????????

Re: Star Trek Q&A -- Appreciation Thread ****SPOILERS***

*shrug*

I'm not a Trek writer (yet...maybe), so I wouldn't know. However, if you are both...then I welcome our new Trek writing cybernetic overlords.

ETA: I'm reading Creative Couplings...and it's great.

ETAA: Oh, just to briefly get on topic: Buy Q&A (at a local bookseller near you). Otherwise, Q will find you and force you to watch Spock's Brain and Rascals on a repeating loop, interrupted by Picard and Worf singing Gilbert and Sullivan. :borg:

Re: Star Trek Q&A -- Appreciation Thread ****SPOILERS***

I just finished Q&A. Great job KRAD! That was one of the funnest Star Trek Books I have read. The plot was well devised, the characters interesting, Q was as hilarious as ever, and the book flowed so well that it kept me on the edge of my seat. Articles of the federation was an interesting look at how The Federation Presidency works, but Q&A was far more fun. You did an excellent job of tying in all of Q's past encounters with humans and your writing for Q himself was very much Q. I also liked the Happy Bottom Ridding club.
I think Data would approve of his visor being back in use, and it is good to see Geordi's spirits seem to be improving toward the end.

Way to go KRAD, Bravo
I wonder when Q will visit us mere mortals again.....
<FLASH> BrentMc disappears

Re: Star Trek Q&A -- Appreciation Thread ****SPOILERS***

^ Thanks so much, Brent! Glad you enjoyed it!

(Credit for both the Riding Club and for bringing back Data's visor to the poker game belong to editor Margaret Clark, BTW.)

Agreed. That was one of my favorite parts of the book.
