Strangely, here in the Netherlands, the full season (all 20 episodes) have now been added to SkyShowtime… until recently, only the first 10 episodes were available

For me, they appeared on SkyShowtime around the time SNW S2E1 arrived.

well…if there was ever any doubt that clip just confirms that this really is…more or less a direct sequel to Voyager.

and yeah, I would rather see more of the original characters over Tom, B’elanna, Harry, etc…

Who knows? Maybe something will happen to the Voyager-A and they'll end up back on a Protostar-class ship. Or something else could happen to separate the kids from the ship. What appears to be the status quo in the opening minutes of the season premiere is not necessarily the status quo for the whole season -- just look at "Caretaker," or indeed Prodigy's premiere.

Besides, their budget probably doesn't allow them too many returning guest actors in any one episode. So the Doctor being there suggests we won't see any other Voyager characters at the same time.

It needs to happen and in not too many years' time if not sooner. The Voyager-B is already being decommissioned around the time of the Frontier Day ceremonies in 2401.

I'd rather see Tysess and Dr. Noum stick around and get more development. I don't want this to become yet another show that becomes overwhelmed by nostalgia at the expense of innovation.
They may be involved in Gwyns storyline, or appear later in adm Janeways orbit.

Or that can be ignored by any series outside Picard, as it was only visible if you freeze a frame and focus on one detail of that frame. Most of the viewers never noticed, if it wasnt pointed out.

Enterprise-F was to decommissioned. The Voyager-B was just advertised as being there. (Could even be its launch).

Remember, ship lifespans vary. Geordi reminds us that the Jenolan could have been in service for 70+ years. It's only the Enterprise's that seem to have shorter lifespans, maybe because the flagship needs to be state of the art.

In october 2022, Kevin Hageman said the following at comic-con:
"It’s not Picard. [Laughs] But it’s not just one, but two pretty big characters are coming back — and they’re not from the same Star Trek show. And Chakotay isn’t who I’m talking about."

So, unless Harry Kim is not viewed as a "pretty big character" (or plans changed, but that would be difficult given the lead time of animation), he may not come into play at S2, yet. But that depends on Kevin Hageman's interpretation of "big character" - Kim was main cast but far from the most important character on Voyager. I guess we now know that he was talking about the Doctor, as far as Voyager goes. The other one remains to be seen.

Dr. Bashir or Garak perhaps? Or Ezri Dax?
All good suggestions, I think. For Dr. Bashir, the augment angle would be a link with Dal. Garak is always interesting, and the actor may be available if there is no make-up involved (which happens to be fine for an animated series). And Ezri Dax is a counselor, could be useful both for Dal's group and for Gwyn. And none of them were featured in Picard.
