Let's hope they win it (recognition would help the show, both with finding new audiences and with the part of Star Trek fandom that ignores it because it's an animated family/children show). I know nothing about the competition though, do they have a chance at this or is there a clear favorite?

They were competing with every other children’s and family animated show released between January 2021 and May of 2022. So hundreds of shows, to answer your question.
