I only don't like rap and hip hop music because I need melody and diversity in my music, and too many of these songs could be played on a piano with just a few keys. At some point, the lyrics didn't even have to rhyme anymore, and it was just plain speaking, no talent involved, no actual singing. They made it aggressive and arrogant to go beyond just talking, but music (for me) should be enjoyable, relaxing, uplifting, and not bullying my ears XD
The first rap song is generally considered to be "Rapper's Delight" by The Sugarhill Gang. Came out in October 1979, two months after I was born. The background sounds the same as "Good Times" by Chic.
One of my favorite rap songs is "Rapture" by Blondie.

My hopes are that they will address The Borg, it seems like Season One was setting this up, whilst taking care of giving resolution to the Data storyline.
Were going to get some kind of origin story or at the very least, some revelations about the Borg. My hope is they'll do it tastefully and intelligently. Please no human origin.

Personally I'd rather we don't get an origin story, but I do hope they address the Borg in season 2, since the status of the collective in 2399 is probably my main lingering question after season 1. They're clearly still considered somewhat of a threat, but also nobody seemed to be too terribly concerned that messing around with that cube was going to attract their attention.
It stands to reason by this point that the Borg have repaired the damage Janeway did in the Voyager finale, and I can't believe the collective would have just let that slide without launching another attack on Earth (kind of like what happened in the novels?), but maybe with all that futuristic anti-Borg tech that Admiral Janeway brought back in time, they just aren't as big of a deal anymore?
If nothing else, I'd think that the artifact being reactivated and then using a transwarp conduit (along with the Sirena) would be enough to attract the collective's attention and get them to send a cube or something to check it out.

That's kind of a bummer...of all the random Trek characters they could revisit in Picard, I actually thought Robert Picardo as the EMH was one of the ones that would actually make sense in the show. Not only because of his previous relationship with Seven, but because of the focus on artificial lifeforms. Could be interesting to see how the Federation's ban on artificial life impacted him.
Picardo made it sound the fans made it up, whilst he himself did this...
